Layers of Fear is like a god of horror games to me. It has such a special place in my heart because it makes me realize how much I love horror instead of how much I'm afraid of horror. Glad you played it.
This game was my first introduction to horror, and VERY few games match the horror and psychological fear of this. Thank you for actually playing it, I've been waiting! Haha
To be honest, Layers of Fear is one of my favorite games EVER. It is never the same twice, and really digs deep into this man's dive into madness as he completely loses himself into depression, alcoholism, and grief. It's a masterpiece.

The first painting is from the Victorian era by Augustus Leopold Egg called “Past and Present”. It depicts a husband who rejects his wife because of her infidelity, and their children witness this moment. However, without her husband she becomes condemned as a fallen woman with no property, and she will be shunned from society. Her fate is very dire, and akin to death. It’s good foreshadowing of the events in this game 🙂👍
Layers of Fear is one of the first horror video games I ever played that I thought was really scary and I finished it all the way through 100% everything in the game.
I think its about artists block, and how detrimental pursuing the way out of the box it placed the player character inside of... and how dealing with it improperly caused dire life destroying consequences..
My neighbors file noise complaints of me watching all your horror vids 😂 PLEASE make the next part cause to me the noise complaints are worth it. Hurrrrryyyy
You’re one of the only gamers I can stand! Most gamers have no idea how to navigate or see interactive items but you’re pretty good and edit out your mistakes and retreading. It does drive me crazy that you miss a lot of visuals but pretty good all around so keep up the great work, Hollow!

This game is actually dangerous for some people let me explain why, the character walks and it sounds like a heartbeats, it can introduce panic attacks. Some painting and objects are shaped that you might confuse it for something else. This game can literally turn a vunerable person insane.
The worst part of this game for me is the storm going on outside. I've got such a phobia of storms that even when they're in a game they unnerve me. Also, does the writing above the door 22:52 say "Get it right this time"?
im a new viewer and with this being the first video ive seen i can already tell your different when playing games. small things like keeping clips even when your stuck, reading notes, being intrigued by the lore keep me watching. Not putting any other content creators down but trying to hard to be funny/ joking too much/ not paying attention to the game takes away the emersion for me. thank you for uploading and i cant wait to watch more videos ! :-}
I’m new watching horror gameplays, but my husband tried to put me onto markaplier, and I just could not watch him. He tries WAY too hard to be funny and it RUINS the creepy vibes I’m supposed to be getting from the gameplay. At least hollow isn’t shouting at me or cracking elementary style jokes trying to be funny but failing.
It's awesome to see another horror game upload, i was looking at dark deception and i don't know if you saw n the comments but someone has a way for you to continue that game past chapter 1 where it crashed for you. it would be cool if you went back to that game.

Love the videos. This one was awesome. And it's a Winnie the Pooh horror movie, not game. It's called Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey. Apparently the director said the plot is that Pooh and Piglet go on a rampage and that they ate Eeyore. Some messed up stuff.
