MY TRIBUTE TO PRESIDENT NOY President Noynoy Aquino is the best president in Philippine contemporary history. 1. The money squandered by Marcos for 20 years fully paid during his watch. 2. Towards the end of his term Philippines has become NET lender to International fund market due to surplus FOREX. 3. Planned long term infrastructure projects put in place went beyond his term to minimize if not totally prevent corruption in project awarding. With this we saved billions which will otherwise go to pockets of “Trapo”. 4. Never in the history of the Philippines that almost every Filipino citizens abroad were proud to be a Filipino. Foreigner with Filipino ancestry were proud to have Filipino blood in their veins. 5. National esteem was highest during the watch of President Noynoy.

Very inspiring the president was a true statement, gentleman and his heart and mind was for his country. The Philippines was blessed by having him as a great leader.

Immediately after the US election in November I began getting comforting texts from Filipino friends reminding me of the February 1986 elections in the Philippines. Marcos thought he could fake a victory and with the help of the media and US government it worked for a while. The encouragement and understanding helped us a lot. Filipinos are amazing people that can bend far but never seem to break (American retired in the Philippines).

He was not vindictive at all despite his dad being assassinated and he got almost killed during the coup attempt during his mom's preidency. He worked even without the media noticing him. He did not want to be credited for all that he did because he always believed that it was the people's tax who made everything possibke. He was deeply maligned by his critics. Those people who could not accept that he was hope of the nation in 2010 when he was urged by the people to run. But He proved that he was great leader. Silent worker but accomplished a lot during his term. He was the only president who did not have personal interest in the power he was holding and the people he had power over. Most of his policies are for long term. The infrastructure which the current govt massively credit grabbed all started during PNoy's term. You are sorely missed, Mr. President. Rest now. You have surely made your parents proud.
