A quick break in Manila | Holy Week 2024 

I spent my Holy week outside Cebu for the first time. I am just so happy to be reunited with my loved ones in Manila.
The best highlight of this trip is Regina Rica in Tanay, Rizal.
This my first time visiting Regina Rica so I made a research about this place.
It was established by the nuns of the Dominican Sisters of Regina Rosarii and their lay partners. Regina RICA is an acronym for “Regina Rosarii Institute for Contemplation in Asia”, It's a 71 foot- statue that stands on top of the hill and with the young Jesus on his arms.
RICA teaches a life of silence, stillness, serenity, simplicity, and solidarity with the suffering humanity. It is way of Finding God by Following Mary.
The place is located in the mountain of Sierra Madre with 13.5 hectare rolling hills complex in Tanay, Rizal
The adoration chapel is a sacred place and strictly no pictures & videos allowed inside After a long-line, I was able to make it inside & had some time to pray. The adoration chapel was so beautiful.
Each year, millions of devotees make a pilgrimage to Regina Rica.
So happy to experience this slow moment. God bless us all.
