A quick look at the Panasonic NV M5 Video Camera from 1984 This actually takes full size VHS tapes. Look out for the M10B version on my other video's. Don't forget to subscribe if you like the video. More videos like this coming soon.
I picked up an M5 from a market today for £15. Apart from the battery being dead, all seemed well and I thought I'd grabbed a bargain. But when I try to record, the camera switches itself off after a few seconds? Any suggestions on how I can fix this? I assume there's some sort of safety switch inside the camera that's turning it off but I'm useless with electrics and not sure where to start.
Hi Peter, You must to change one or more of The rubber bands inside The vcr seccion that allows motion Transfer to The mechanism that movés The reel. This is probably how your camera switches of to protect It. Good luck! Asier.
Hello! Would you save my life if you answered this question: when these cameras are turned on without a vhs inside... is it normal that the camera viewfinder only shows a white line on a black background?
Hi, Sorry I've been very busy, It sounds like it may be showing a test signal so you can tune your tv to the camera easier, look at the power supply near the aerial sockets, does it have a test signal switch?
@@screenwritingacademy It is a very good camera, I have the same one... but the viewfinder doesn't work well... I have it for spare parts since I bought a working PANASONIV OMNIMOVIE PV-220D.
