I recently got this knot down after learning it on and off for a few months. Then recently i learned how to tie it using the bowline and a couple of turns of one end.

Thank you so much for this very clear explanation of tying the jug knot. I've been looking for an explanation of this knot and this is the first that clearly explains how to tie it. I also think it was very polite that you introduced your friends. Thank you again.

This is the fourth video I watched trying to do this. Could see it clearly. All the other videos they would give me instructions but their hands are blocking it and/or if they did not point out the direction of travel of the line. Subscribe because I cannot wait to learn a lot more knots.

Thank you for your video. I had watched 8 videos prior to yours about the Jug Sling and yours was by far the easiest to follow. Nice having the contrasting background behind the line. I was going to use a bag knot to hold the bottles, but that would have left them hanging at an angle. Please keep making knot videos.

Thanks, great video, very clearly explained and filmed. As the other reviewer stated, there are a lot of videos of how-to tie this knot out there, but none that do nearly as well at the video demonstration nor the concise verbiage you used.

This is two reverse half hitches inverted, there are other knots which are very much like this one and can be used like this one one of these is made by middling your rope and make a foot rope knot but instead of tying a crown and a wall is made with 2crowns or 2 wall knots one on top and one underneath ,you can also make one from a constrictor knot and one can also be made from a reef knot.

Really useful knot - I followed the video to create a handle onto two separate 'protein powder' containers that double as buoyancy and a 'dry' container for my wallet and phone when I'm sailing my dinghy. Fantastic!

Thanks so much for the clear demonstration on tyiong this interesting knot. Im not to sure How I’ll use it but as you stated in the video it is a very nice looking knot. after I tied the knot I began to tighten it up a lot and the looks of the knot changed as it got smaller. Just the same it still looked nice. This will be another knot I will use on some of my lanyards. Thanks again. Looking forward to your next sesseion.Hopefully I can catch your demonstration of the Turks knot to cover a bottle oor container.

I use this knot quite a lot (hiking in Arizona it's a great way to carry your water bottle.) Also I've tied many in different types of cordage/rope because it is really a pretty thing. Thanks for teaching it to me!

How do you get enough length or add length to a Turk head so the knot will go around something say 3 feet? Someone said you could make a Turk head long enough to go around a boat. How do you get it that long? Thank you for your time

The Ashley Book Of Knots will show you an easier way and tell you how the "Jug" sling got it's name, and why we don't call it the "Bag" sling.
