Directed by Michael Sarnoski, the film is a prequel starring Lupita Nyong'o and Joseph Quinn as two unlikely companions trying to survive the first day of a sudden alien invasion. In this review, I share my thoughts on the movie and why I think it was an overall step down from the prior entries.
