I remember seeing the first movie in theaters. Everyone was quiet throughout pretty much the whole movie, which made the scares that much worse. I liked this movie too, not as much as the first but it was still good.

I love this film. I was wary how a sequel could go but I love how the story just shifted to the kids finding the ability to fight back, where as the first one is the anxiety of parenthood.

Eric's homemade sound effect at 20:48 was so perfect for that moment

The first movie was very well made despite its budget but second one has Cillian Murphy in it, so its very hard to compare both.

This movie would be a perfect environment for The Last of Us. The world setting is perfect for it.

The last few minutes of the discussion is pure gold

I grew up by a farm & played in a silo of corn myself. Didnt get the danger then but as an adult I realized how reckless that actually was. It was a different time...

It's crazy to me how much more praise the first one gets. Yes, it's the original and brought in the idea/creativity but this one imo is way better shot, better acted and has more enjoyable settings and memorable scenes.

I saw this recently….good movie imo. The tension and suspense was still well done…liked the characters to varying degrees and the performances (though still missed Krasinski even though he was in the opening). The children really stepped up at the end which was cool!!

In terms of events, its only been 24hrs since the mom gave birth. So her being able to move around or do anything is crazy, she'd still be exhausted and sore.

The human tried to fend them off, but there were just too many of them, and he soon found himself overwhelmed by the swarm of fur and claws. Just when it seemed that the kittens might be victorious, however, the human made a bold move. He reached down and scooped up a handful of the tiny felines, holding them aloft as they yowled and scratched at him. With a mighty roar, he tossed them all into the air, sending them flying in every direction. The human emerged victorious, with only a few scratches and bites to show for the battle. The kittens, on the other hand, were left licking their wounds and wondering what had just happened. And so, it was clear that in this battle, the human was the winner. Though small and fluffy, the kittens were no match for the strength and determination of a single human. The end.

You guys should checkout Love & Monsters... Good movie .. even got an Oscar nomination for best visual effects....

First film i watched back in cinemas after nearly 1 year and a half totally different experience then at home.

I wasnt like super impressed with this movie or anything, but this is one of my favorite reactions you guys have done. You guys just like are chill and laughing a ton this time around. Great stuff.

I saw this movie at a drive-in theatre. Don’t know if that was a good idea or a mistake, but it made the whole thing so much more immersive. It was like we were there. And when Noah, who was so incredibly afraid of these creatures last movie, just approached one with the radio and shot it, it felt _so good._

This movie was the first time I went back to the theater after the pandemic struck and having not seen the first one in theaters I was really excited and had really high expectations. The movie exceeded them so much. Goated sequel

i read a book called zombie fallout 5 by mark tufo in which one of the character is killed by a house full of hungry trapped cats. I don't remember the number of cats that attacked, but the character was injured so that may have also played a part in his death.

Cats can kill when motivated and if they are feral they can do some damage. Remember in Sleepwalkers, they killed the mother demon by scratching her because their breaking her skin made her burst into flame and they swarmed her

I would absolutely love a Quite Place style game where it's sort of like the clickers in the Last of Us, but the monsters are these big, ever-present threats that you ALWAYS have to be wary of and can use almost like a weapon. Like you would throw a bottle or a firecracker at an enemy in order to send the monster after them, but if you're ever forced to use your gun the monster will hone in on your location instead.

I think that the beginning of the movie has a logic reason. We humans can hear and rely on our ears to hear things we can't see so we assume that all living things can hear because we can. So when a monster that makes sound comes we assume that it can hear because we can hear it and if something makes sounds it probably can hear that sounds to or it would be pointless to make sounds. And for the radio part: I think it just has to do with storytelling; if they say on the radio that the monsters can't swim then you wouldn't feel scared when they are on the boat jumping in the water trying to get to Emmett.

I’ve rewatched the scene where the alien crashes into the cop car so many times. Their reactions are killing me

I give it an 7.5/10. Really good movie, and FANTASTIC sound design.

Drinks and snacks were all but forgotten in the theater the stressful part began. Sure, in the beginning, it was fine, but after that? Nope, Silence in the place, every sound made EVERYONE flinch.

Both first and second movie are very enjoyable if you turn off your brain, don't ask about the plot holes because there's no answer, they don't even try to give you answers in the second movie so I guess they chosed to not explain anything because you will never be able to explain everything. The only thing they tried to explain, because everyone was asking, is how they arrived on earth, and we saw the meteors... and they only created more questions, so better enjoy the cool things and don't think about the non-sense.

It was a good film. Kinda surprising that it is reshowing in theatres for Halloween weekend
