Honestly as someone with breathing troubles it makes me happy to see haha. I will say I cough every time I use my inhaler though so j wonder if it'll happen in game too
@@Afireinside912 we will see, cause you cant tell it is the same game only if you played it in normal, but in nightmare is where the game test you for real, while maybe this one will be more generic in just hide and seek.
@@Afireinside912The point is that Alien Isolation and Outlast popularized the cat/mouse horror game genre in the early to mid 2010's and we probably wouldn't have as many of them without those influences.
I get that so much, and when I’m trying to get a snack from the fridge while everyone else in the house is asleep and everything somehow seems ten times as loud even though I’m trying to be as quiet as possible. Just opening the fridge door sounds like thunder cracking.
@@WonderBeanOfficial We actually have a proof of concept in HL ALYX Jeff level that it would be a kickass vr game. This whole "don't make a sound" mechanic in vr can be it's own genre.
@dnzrdm this with full HL:A level of polish (which literally no vr game I've played has gotten close to. valve does valve lol) would be one of the greatest vr games no doubt
But we see that there are other, more loud noises going on. Such as mice running around and what appears to be some kind of alarm system (not a loud one, but an alarm nonetheless). The Death Angel probably isn’t taking those small noises into account because it thinks it’s just the elements or small animals that aren’t worth going after. But then it hears the sound of crunching glass, which could only be a footstep. That gets its attention.
@@Mushess explain them pin pointing the tiniest of noises in the movies then? For example, shirt being torn. Also, breathing/pulses. But can’t hear the squeaky lock, etc?
In the film, the family didn't wear shoes, only socks or bare feet. It would be unrealistic if you wore shoes in the game because in the movie the monsters would have heard you immediately.
I'm gonna guess this games probably is set only a few years after the tragic start of the invasion, where the movie is set maybe 10 years (or more) in the future where people are more cautious.
In the sequel. Cillian Murphys character wears shoes. Also you can see the damage it does to Regans feet because she was so used to only walking on sand.
@@ryuno2097 IDK about you but people don't take that long to be on full caution, unless if you're counting people who are SLOW AF or been living under a rock. You just need to know the premise of the monster the you'll know how to be cautious around that. If this game does set around few years post-tragedy then people should've at least have the early version of their own guideline inside their head, and since the main character already knew to sneak around and make no noise, they should've known shoes are just a pair of manual loudspeaker
This game is yelling for a VR mode for psvr2. Madison VR is the most terrifying and satisfying game I played, and I'm a oldie gamer of 45 years old. VR is a game changer specially for horror games
Been waiting for this for months since it was announced, looks very promising. Would be even more awesome if it had a VR Mode with mic audio integration
This actually looks really intriguing. I’m kind of surprised. I hope this has a really solid gameplay and the developers take their time at making this
This is creepily intense, you can feel as if you're in there trying your best not to make a sound or the death angels will rip you to shreds instantly before you have the time to run. This game is not for the faint-hearted.
The fact that I said “playstation might turn this movie into a video game and earn a lot of money of this” while I was seeing the movie “the quiet place” is crazy 🤪 I thought u guys wasn’t going to do it but u guys actually did it
im glad to see the asthma play a role in this game, i feel as if being deaf in the movies was a gift but it never really looked into having a disadvantage like asthma in a setting where everything is always being destroyed and your always on your toes and being jumpscaeed
PLEASE tell me they implemented that sound mechanic from Saints & Sinners, where if you talk too loud or make to much noise on your mic, it'll draw them straight towards you!? If not, then that's the biggest missed opportunity I've ever seen. 😭🙏
