We are so spoiled with all of your FREE patterns - thank you! My husband, also named William, served in the Army for 23 years! My son, Christopher William, is currently in the Army & I think this quilt would be a perfect gift for his upcoming birthday!

I made a quilt of valor for both of my brothers, one now deceased, broke down crying in appreciation. I love them both and are so grateful for their service.

Thank your dad for his service. I love your quilt. I have made a quilt for my son. He served 2 tours in Afghanistan. He was in the marines so I used marine fabric and in the corners I used the block homeward bound. I made it for him for his 18th birthday , he left soon after for the marines. I am blessed to have him home.
