I know some people will bash me for this, but how can you live in a country for 10 years, using up the resources, but not bother learning the basics of the language? My mother moved from Europe to Canada with me while I was a child, and she learned English. We speak her native tongue at home and she does have an accent, but she understands English better than some born Canadians.

The last guy should enter without papers and without passport or any ID. They'll tell him to report monthly and he can just ignore that and then live in England for as long as he wants.

There seems to be no political will to deal with this problem, both in France (with all the 'clandestines' camping rough for no other reason than to sneak a ride at the first convenient opportunity) and in England where they seem to be released more often than not. It's as if the so-called authorities have no power to actually do anything.
