Yeah, according to a friend in Anahiem, most Rams fans are in Orange County. they just don't want to drive through LA traffic, and the rest of LA just doesn't care and want to "watch" an NFL game.

@@PowerPackers90 that's true. The Rams used to play in Angel’s stadium in the 80s and 90s. My grandma and uncles were big Rams fans even after they moved to St Louis, and a lot of Orange County pop warner teams have been using the Rams as their team names even before they moved back to Socal. I can also attest that the traffic, especially on Sundays, is probably the worst in the country

Nah, Stafford is basically a better Wentz, dude is super inconsistent, some games he's borderline starter material and others he's almost elite, Rams won because, unlikely Staffords lesser half (Wentz and the Colts), they had actual supportive important roles from the OF to the DF, they're the total opposite of the Colts, and it shows, and I'm a Colts fan before anyone gets salty, but its just the truth. All the Rams needed was a decent QB who could execute complex schemes and play above a starter-caliber level, and Stafford was able to deliver that enough to get there. Wentz pulled tons of wins out of his a** too on the eagles and brought his team to the playoffs year over year, but it doesn't make you elite.

LA Teams don’t have anything resembling a “fan” compared to cities (examples, not in order & sorry if I didn’t mention your team) but but cities with FANS are Buffalo, Cleveland, Cincinnati, Etc…) FANS that follow every move, every game, every year, actually UNDERSTAND FOOTBALL) and pour their soul into their fandom with nothing to show for decades but the occasional moral victory or winning season.) My father died without ever seeing the Browns in a Super Bowl. I’m almost 40 and the same thing may happen to me. But we love our teams with all our hearts, and never stop caring. Those are FANS. Not bad wagoners, casual spectators, or fair weather barflies who occasionally catch games and criticize on social media. Those types of football watchers aren’t fans.

@@TheEDFLegacy mathew stafford was the QB for detroit for like ever and he had never won a playoff game there, so when he got traded to the rams, every detroit fan wanted the best for him because he is such a good guy, so thats why every detroit fan also feels so happy about the super bowl win

@@TheEDFLegacy Yep basically what Sean said. Some Lions fans moved on from him faster than others, but he's been a bright spot in a bad team/franchise for so long (12 seasons!) that most Lions fans were happy to finally see him succeed somewhere.

@@sean9487 Thank you both! Kind of reminds me of Phil Kessel for the NHL Toronto Maple Leafs; by far the best player on their team at the time, got traded after years of being on a mediocre team, and immediately won a Stanley Cup the year after with the Pittsburgh Penguins.

I’d say the controversy balanced itself out with the no call offensive PI against Ramsey and the holding call on the Rams final drive. Also, yes f*ck Stan Kroenke, especially with what he did to those people in Texas (he expanded his ranch by buying out a town and leaving many homeless including a few that committed suicide).

True, it was probably the first real Superbowl where I felt like I was just having a bunch of fun watching all the big plays. I'm a Chiefs fan, but I have absolutely 0 grudges against Cincy and am a partial Rams fan due to their run in St. Louis years back. I knew that both these teams were practically equal in the matchup and would be a giant cluster of big plays, and with no real heart attack scenarios, I was in heaven. I get why some (non football fan) people hate the Chiefs, but I like them, and I do for the players, not their estranged bloodlines. The only thing for me that could've been better would be a Rams vs Chiefs game, not because I want the Chiefs in the Superbowl again, but because of their last meeting being one of the best games in history, and they had they makings to even top that one this year. Anyway, bye!
