The food waste is something that I hate.. it is an absolute pet peeve of mine, that I let food go to waste, that I spent good money on or some starving person could’ve eaten it. So to curb this (I realise it’s a little late for you) I have weekly/monthly fridge clean outs, I force myself to eat all my leftovers, I make a pasta salad with all the leftover veg and misc lunch meat or whatever I can throw in there. Same with salads, pastas, stirfrys.. I mix together all my misc condiments and make a giant “leftover” stir fry. So the only condiments I ever have on hand are ketchup, mayo, and soy sauce, and hot sauce.

You can def take opened spices on a move, I've done it a few times. Just make sure they are secured and won't spill in the box!

1. It is 100% reasonable to get yourself a treat when you have to do a chore! 2. I also like to pack things early - it is very calming to do it step by step in an orderly fashion. 3. Getting things out of your head and onto paper is very soothing!

Do you feel pain on your period? I used too but then I started taking the month pills and gets must better and controlled! Life must go on and if I have to work or go somewhere I can do it! We can’t be in bed every time on the month! But I totally understand you!

Hi Hannah. I’m also currently moving house and have 2 months to pack up my stuff. I feel you though! Moving gives me anxiety too BUT I’m just doing everything slightly early cos I know if I leave it until the last few weeks, it will be to stressful! I’m getting so excited seeing all of my stuff packed up and starting a new adventure!! Java soak is perfect for coffees so the ice doesn’t melt. I got a large Dunkin coffee one afternoon and left it in the fridge with the Java sok on because I was saving it for the following morning and it tasted fresh.

Commenting this bc I've seen you make this comment before and, as a doctor, I feel like it's my duty to correct you 😅 but, when you're on your period, what hurts is your UTERUS, not your ovaries! When you're ovulating mid-cycle, that's when your ovaries might hurt! Though, it's usually just one side and it's not that common, most people don't feel ovulation pain. 💖💖

I have cptsd and packing triggers me so bad too...I think for me it's about the relentless inner critic in my head that will absolutely destroy me if I "mess up" and forget something. Like if I see later that I forgot something, I will get so irrationally angry at myself and be in a bad mood for sometimes the whole day. All because I just can't forgive myself. My parents were hard on me as a kid and would've treated me that way if I forgot something as a kid.

My mom taught me a trick to ripen avocados faster but them in a cabinet for 12 hrs to 24. And you will have a nice soft avocado!

Hannah-there is an app that you can get for your phone that you take photos of items in boxes and then put the QVC code on the box and you know what is inside. Not sure that will help with your OCD? I have OCD so I completely understand the anxiety and stress it gives you. Your moving checklist is brilliant. I’m sure that will help. Will Charlie go to your parents while you move, then bring her to your new place? Or is she going straight to the new place with you?
