The thing to remember is that the majority of people on both sides are decent people. The loudest few percent on every side for pretty much every issue (not just political issues) tend to give a bad name to the others and often hurt their causes more than they help them.

Exactly, I'm a Jewish American and this hate needs to stop. Its based on nothing, just stereotypes/misunderstandings. There is not one type of Jew, there is no one type of Black, and so on. If someone says they are Christian it doesn't mean they are very religious when it comes to God or a Republican of all things. There is not one type of person. If they just stopped to talk to the person for five seconds/get to know them. Maybe, just maybe they would be the best of pals and see the truth behind the word. Well religion why else? Modern antisemitism comes from two distinct places, one is being against Israeli policies some people turn more extreme and blame all Jewish people on the other hand from the right, times like the Holocaust to modern white-supremacists they are a scrape-goat that kind of looks like them. Before that it was just plain old othering like the Spanish Inquisition which kicked out both Muslims and Jewish people from Spain and Ottomans accepted them both. Groups like the Roma, Ismalis, Ahamadis, and Kurds also experience the same issues but have no powerful people advocating for them.
