As a US Army Airborne Infantryman Combat Veteran of the Panama Invasion and 1st Gulf War with the 82nd and a guy who's in his mid 50's now and still tries to stay in pretty good shape for his age I really enjoy watching yours and Nick Bare' s videos. You guys are awesome and both being veterans I can relate to you guys. Keep putting those videos out they are really good and inspirational. Thank you for service in the Marine Corp also!

Just wanted to drop a quick note, after watching this one a and a few other of your vids it helped me to find what I needed to finally make a call to the VA to get the process started so I can deal with the ptsd crap Ive carried around for almost 22 years. I wonder how selection bias plays into, or how much it plays into I should say, the myriad issues that soldiers face relative to society at large. The military is largely young, conservative, white, & male relative to the country at large. There's a huge slant to young men which of course is going to be a volatile population....not sure how the white conservative bits play in, but I'd love to see this studied...perhaps it has been & I'm just not aware.

Back when I was a Ranger I got a 15 killstreak and made it all the way to a Tactical Nuke with the attack chopper.

I hate to draw attention away from the purpose of this video, but I need to just get it off my chest. I’m currently 17 and a junior in HS, I want to join the Marines because I want to challenge myself and to be part of the “Few”. Not only that but I have a uncle served for 19 years, cousin for 6, and my dad went to boot camp but got medically discharged and it would mean a lot to me to finish what he started. Recently I’ve heard Rangers brought up a couple of times so I finally got information about them and was contemplating to joining the Army and be a Ranger. Also found out that my grandfather was a Ranger(never knew that). I was bummed the Marines didn’t have a special force, until I discovered your channel Nick( my name is Nick too 😁👌🏼) and learned about the Raiders and After I learned about them more I said to myself “I’d rather be a Marine” and maybe one day be a Raider. I’ve always been fond of special forces because something about being in that special group, that few would even dare think of doing makes me want to be part of that group more( Also think that’s why I’m attracted to the Marines the most) Now I’ve learned from your videos that becoming a Raider( any special force member) isn’t anything remotely easy. But I think that’s why I want to be a Marine to challenge myself and hopefully push my limits, because currently in my life I consider myself weak( mentally and physically) I have experienced how it feels to quit something because I felt a ounce of pain( first in my life😂) I quit because I wanted it to stop only after 3 days of “Football”( embarrassing as it is, wasn’t even on the “team”) it hurt more because my whole life I never was able to play due to money, and that was my one opportunity to get me in... and I quit. It doesn’t matter how small it was, because it still hurt just the same... the worst feeling ever.. the feeling of regret, disappointment, and weakness all in myself. Now I still may carry those attributes but I know for sure I don’t want to ever quit like that again, it isn’t worth it, not even for the one second of relief you feel. And you may be thinking “ And you want to be a raider?? 😂😂” You’d be right, except I know how it feels and don’t wanna feel like that again and once I seriously put my mind to something I’m very stubborn 😁. And becoming a Marine and a possible future Raider is a calling I have that seems to only get louder as the days go by. I’m also going to be honest, I am scared of the idea.. if I said I wasn’t it’d be total bullshit. But I’m willing to do it( don’t know if I’m just being an idiot) I would like to give thanks to those who actually read this whole thing and sorry for the life story 🤣. I’m not asking for advice, instead I want to say thank you Nick for giving me more insight/knowledge and your “Never quit” motto 😁 and I continue to look up to you( even though I’ve only found your channel 3 days ago) Thank you 👌🏼

I've been looking into volunteering and finding ways to help veterans but sometimes you don't even know where to begin. I think it's helpful to people to have ideas because not everyone has cash to donate... they would like to do practical things though. So, yes, thank you.

I'm just a dumb 30 Y/O Firefighter with a goal to help Police officers, Firefighters, and other emergency services with mental health and addiction issues.
