The Dragon and the George(1976) is the first book in the The Dragon Knight series which is comprised of 9 books written between 1976 and 2000. One of my favorites.
This is one of my favorite movies, I watched it so often when I was a kid the tape fell apart lol. I begged my parents to replace it, they were so tired of it, but they got me a new one. I still watch it at least 3 times a year, sometimes way more if I'm in a nostalgic kick! That and The Last Unicorn XD
Hey Barkey, I just love your reviews. You talked breifly about Patrick Troughton, the 2nd Doctor Who, and was wondering if you would like to review the stinker of a TV movie, Doctor Who:The Movie! As a massive Classic Who fan this one is a stinker and I would love to see your take on it. Thanks again for the review!
Ah, you mean the '96 one? The Fox one? Yeah, I remember that. Americanizing Doctor Who was a bad idea. At least Sylvester McCoy got a regeneration scene. It's not a great movie, but still more legit than Nu Who if you ask me. I do have some Who to review though, that's on the way.
The human characters in this animation are rather life like facially. They remind me of the 1939 animated version of Gulliver's Travels. When I was five years old in 1959, in Logan Utah, my parents took me to see a re-release of it, Before it ended up being shown on television. Gulliver's human like animated face creeped me out. I prefer animated characters to look more cartoonish. Not actually life like.
Never even Heard of this one. Might have to track it down. Looks like something very much in the vein of "The Last Unicorn". Another toon that Barkey could Review! ...if he hans't already that is... Need to check.
I LOVE this movie. Amazing this review came 11 days ago. I watched The Last Unicorn then this film. When I found out about, I vehemently searched for it online to watch it. This film is 100% better than TLU. TLU was just way too emotional for me. You think me being a female I'd like it more but, NAH. And it's not just my bias towards dragons over (whiney) unicorns but yeah.😂 This movie was more appealing to me on SO MANY LEVELS. It's got a great message too. It just left me feeling extremely inspired after it ended. I want more movies like it. 💜
