Cam was the community manager (including forum moderator) and also worked on QA and promotional material. One of his jobs was to collect feedback and bug reports and parse it to the rest of the development team.
It's a tragic situation all around. Maximum destroyed their reputation with customers and developers by releasing - and selling - such a broken character.
