I agree it's pay to win. Easy way to get the most bang for your buck is a spring that puts you right at the joule limit, rhop tight bore barrel with heavy bbs like .36 or higher. With just that you'll be out preforming most people and those upgrades in the grand scheme are not expensive

That's for sure people seem to forget that 🤷‍♂️

When skill is equal - equipment counts, when equipment is equal then skill is a matter. In our community there are some rentals, some hardcore milsimers and speedsofters. When I organize events, Im trying to make teams more or less equal in matter of skill (years of experience mostly) and equipment. There are some guys with 5k$ worth thermal optics and there is a lot of satisfaction when I take down one of them. And best thing is - well motivated and eager to work and cooperate noob is better than bored, camping "operator" waiting in bushes with his long range rifle waiting for enemy and not playing objective.

I dont see how milsimmers or airsofters in general would rage at what you are saying. Its true, and I dont feel like people who are into airsoft dont know this. Personally I play for the fun, preferring to play with diverse more realistic equipment (leaning towards Milsim) rather than highly upgraded "sporterized" guns, and my K/D reflects that. Doesnt matter to me though, thats not why I play. To be fair, I would not have any fun if everyone else had highly upgraded equipment, but luckily airsoft is very diverse. You see everything from people rocking old-school WW2 weapons to high-speed speed-soft weapons.

I can also agree. My 2nd SAEG from Evolution Airsoft was pure bullshit i had no fun with it after some months swapping almost all Internals. Im fucking loving it and it is so dmn Accurate and the consistency is awesome out of 20 shots with my chrono and on the fields where im playing im having only 0,01 Joule difference from max and lowest Joule. I want all my replicas as god as I can make them and it is a lot more fun than stock. So you know to 100 % where the BB goes and dont have to worrie. Current build is my new Article 1.

the only "tactic" in airsoft that realy works in 90% is shoot more then the enemy team and run more then the enemy team! and yes airsoft is pay to win like most sports where you need a tool or special gear to do the sport. like you say only if everybody would have exactly the same equipment the skill will be the only key. that was my opinion even before i saw your video bro. good one!
@kaslab

@@kaslab dont know how somebody can be angry about that or even rage about. i mean if they would challenge a f1 car with a beatle in a race it would be the same 🤣even my better breatheable high end shoes with extra grib give me a little upgrade in a "tactical woodland scenario" when my opponent is not in the mood to run anymore after 2 hourse cause his feets are hurting in his crap boots. the list of this examples is endless.

1.6J with .36s and .40s is a bit lacking. Id prefer to use .32s at that power level. I do have to agree though, it is largely pay to win
@kaslab

.40 will fly longer then the .32's but each to their own, but I hope you got something out of the video 👌🤷‍♂️
@reeceengineering3560
@reeceengineering3560 28 дней назад
@@kaslab They will fly longer with 0.40s. But the physics get very strange with how backspin RPM steadily drops vs forward momentum. Ive Rhop'd a KJW 1911 before, and I was able to overhop .40s at 0.9 Joules. It shot farther then it did before with .28-.32s, but the trajectory was very very weird. I wouldnt want to run something like that all day. Here in the USA limits are 1.55J, which can be workable with 0.36s, and the .36s will fly farther. But I prefer the way .32s behave at that power level. I wouldn actually want .36s until we get to about 1.7J

I'm going to call BS on this one because if you have decent 200-300€ gun it is going to perform 90% of that 1300€ gun. 1000€ gun does not perform 10x better than 100€ gun. I challenge you to play against some similar skill lever player with gun that costs much less.

Airsoft is definitely pay to win no matter how you look at it .. few examples trying to stay undetected behind the enemy in a cqb environment.. soon as you shoot with a aeg or gbbr that’s it chances are you’ve been heard .. same situation with a mtw with good set up … chances are you don’t get heard .. another example on the other side of things I play in a indoor cqb site I play every Sunday I know every spot every angle every tactic for certain areas … and you send a guy who’s never played there before .. he’s going to get battered … why because I spend money every week to play this site and he does not 😂 it’s all pay to win

Wow, I just watched the rest of the video and you contradict yourself so many times that I don't know if this video is made seriously or not. First you say that expensive guns and ammo are pay to win. Then you tap yourself on the shoulder and say that you own the field because you know the layout, run faster and are so fucking much better than everyone else. So are you better because you can suck yourself or the gun is better? Good videos tho

I would say airsoft is more pay to enjoy. Its definitely more satisfying to have a gun thats accurate and can keep up with your skill level, but its not necessarily pay to win so much. Reason i say this, is i play all indoor CQB with a rifle that i built and ive put over $1200 into that rifle. I still get shot by players with rentals, players with pistols etc. So sure, in SOME instances it can be “pay to win” but ive also had guys with 20x the cost of my kit come play and ive shxt on them. It still boils down to skill levels, reaction times, map knowledge and situational awareness. Yes, you can buy guns that perform better but if your skills aren’t up to par you will still get shxt on by players with cheaper stuff. My buddy has a bone stock specna arms (the polymer $185 one) with nothing but an optic and a tracer unit, and he fucks me up sometimes just because he will have better position than me, or i make stupid pushes and he catches me off guard. At the end of the day, airsoft is about having fun. It doesn’t matter how much you spend as long as you are enjoying your time playing. Its definitely alot more fun when you have that insane accuracy and consistency in shots from upgrades, but not everyone can afford those things.
@YouANerd
@YouANerd 19 дней назад
Oh, side note. Ive also let players use my rifle, and ive gone up against them with a bone stock EF G17 (well, it has a hair trigger in it but other than that its stock) and ive absolutely shxt on them. So again, skill is what it boils down to, having good gear only takes you so far.
@kaslab

The best part of airsoft is you can play how you want and with what you want, I love there is room for all kinds of players! And everyone feels welcome always 🫶🏻🙏

@kaslab 19 дней назад
Yeah it’s good fun, but as clear as you say it it seems to trigger people a lot, I am not sure why when I made this whole video with "facts in mind" and not feelings.. But yeah skill is most of it... but hard to outskill someone with a thermal that shoots you through a bush ;( haha
@YouANerd
@YouANerd 19 дней назад
@@kaslab very true. I personally enjoy indoor CQB much more, as i find that its easier to know when you hit people, its more action packed, and you definitely burn a ton of calories due to constantly moving. It also evens out the playing field just a little bit due to everything being such close quarters.
