well that was a right nightmare moving the boat first took 20 mins to start the outboard then it died on me just at the sky opened up and left me drifting sidways along the canal
the joys of using old 2stroke outboards

Maybe the pill box is there because there was a airbase or it could be there to protect barges bringing valuable supplies along the canal/river
