jam gaya hai,yaa ,jham gaya hai??? Spb ,earned the national award,by his first song itself. Here,we must admire the correct and strict control on music instruments also. Praise those behind screen hero also.
Not a mix, Yesudas's voice is celestial and divine, Pls listen to gori thera, jab deep, dil ke tukde, pyare panche, chand jaise mukde pe, o goriya re, o bhavre hindi songs of yesudas...
First time I am hearing this song. Very melodious music, instrumentation and PERFECT singing by both Lataji and Yesudas. Lataji's singing is legendary but particularly outstanding is the heavenly soothing voice and singing of Yesudas. I don't think there are many singers in the world that can sing sweeter than Yesudas. The way he sings each word with subtle expressions in this song is a perfect example. Also enjoy the melodious mix of flute, santoor, tabla and violin rider. The more you listen, the more this song grows on you. Another song that is very pleasing is "Chaudvin Ka Chand Ho" by the great Rafi who was also blessed with a divine voice. Indian film music at its best. The perfection with which they sing, these great Masters are giving a lesson to the youth of India how to sing. Worth sharing with fine music lovers. Even the Westerners love this song!
Yesudas voice is very sweet and melodious. We, the Hindi belt are at a loss having not much Hindi songs of Yesudas. Great opportunity to Hindi film music lost. The concurrent music composers are only responsible for such loss.
Yesudas has sung far many Hindi songs way back in late 70s and 80s, many have been gone to become chartbusters in those times. e.g, Maana ho tum behad haseen, Chand jaise mukhde pe bindiya, Gori Tera gaaon bada pyara, Aapki mehki hui zulf ko kehte hain ghata Kahan se aaye badra, Tu jo mere sur mein sur Mila le.....
One of the best duets ever in Hindi. Unfortunately Yesudas' best songs including those in the film Tansen were not released. Big salute to maestro Khayyam ,Lataji and Yesudas, the singer extraordinaire .
Aha... what a song... what a composition.. hearing it for the first time.... cant stop listening to it.. Maa Saraswati ke saath Gana Gandharvan... deadly combination!!
*Lata Mangeshkar Birthday Special: An Exciting News For Her Fans* - *A Stunning Song Never Heard Before* *For Lata Mangeshkar's birthday, a gift for her bhakts… an unreleased never heard before song 'Yeh haseen raat toh mansoob tere naam se hai'.* For fans of Lata Mangeshkar, there is exciting news. I have just found a song of hers that her diehard devotees would kill for. It is an unreleased song of such irradiant beauty that it immediately qualifies as one of her most beautiful melodies of all times. For Lata Mangeshkar's birthday, a gift for her bhakts… an unreleased never heard before song 'Yeh haseen raat toh mansoob tere naam se hai'. This stunning melody composed by the great Khayyam and written by Jan Nissar Akhtar is sung to eternal glory by Lata ji and Yesudas for a film titled Majnoon. The film launched in 1979 to be directed by Kamal Amrohi of Pakeezah fame was shelved after a lavish Mahurat. It was to star Rajesh Khanna and Rakhee Gulzar. What happened to the film and its immortal music? Kamal Amrohi’s son Tajdar Amrohi tells me, “Dimple Kapadia (Mrs Rajesh Khanna) wanted to play a particular role. The disputes kept mounting and then regrettably Majnoon had to be shelved. If only it had been made as my father dreamt of it! Aap soch nahin sakte ke duniya ne kya khoya diya (you have no idea what the world lost). I was witness to the fights that aborted Majnoon. My father was a great artiste and a wonderful human being. He didn’t get the fame that he deserved. He is better off in the other world . This world was not meant for my father. He was maligned and his reputation was tarnished when in fact he was an angel. But I am confident one day the truth about him will come out.” Tajdar Amrohi tells me there is one other song in the voice of Lataji that was recorded for Majnoon by Khayyam. That song is nowhere to be found. Meanwhile, there is this exquisite discovery of a prized song destined to be counted among Lataji’s best. I sent it to Lata ji who had no recollection of the song or the recording. “I remember my songs for Kamal Amrohi Saab in Pakeezah. They are popular to this day. And then of course Ajeeb dastaan hai yeh in Kamal Saab’s Dil Apna Aur Preet Paraayi. Kamal Amrohi sa'ab tuned very well with Khayyam Saab. My song for them in Razia Sultan - Ae dil-e-nadaan is among my favourites. This film Majnoon and this song Yeh haseen raat toh mansoob tere naam se hai that you’ve found is totally forgotten. There are so many gems sung not just by me but also by my sister Asha, Mukesh Bhaiyya, Kishore da, Rafi sa'ab and other great singers that are lost to humanity. Bahot afsos ki baat hai.”
Voice of Yesudas is voice of God , his singing talent beyond any words. No comparison to him in this planet. Bollywood should have used him 100 times more.
This is the real inimitable voice.... Rafi and Kishore songs 100s of singers and other people sing.... You need to think 10 times before you attempt this!
Yesudas voice comes in so heavenly and divine! His voice is most soothing and relaxing! And then Lataji's voice is so crisp and whimsical! Great! ❤ P.S. They should release this as an album! Great Music does not need movies to survive!
Yesudas , Music taken human form. A birth that happens once in millennia. Listen to the voice...so silky and velvety.. like honey and nectar dripping in to the soul. The star that is the brightest in the Indian music firmament
Never ever believed that Yesudas has such a voice...wow, wow no words,no words to describe...first time hearing this immortal classic...thanks from Trinidad and Tobago🇹🇹
Wah! Wah! Kitna Aachha Melody gaana gaya hai Lata Mangeshkar ji ne, aur Yesudas ji ne. Chamtkaar gaana gaya hai.. The most Beautiful Song During my Childhood days... Yesu ji, And Lata Mangeshkar ji excellent💯 gaana.... (Tuna bal, 42 Mouza katak Odisha)
This is so precious.... immortal musicians in total "TAAL-MEL" .... the musical melody of the mountains makes it so truly well named as a Raag - Pahaadi
What a wonderful mixing of santoor and bansuri...smoothness creats by Lataji and Yshudas ji melodious combination. We can learn how can we sing a song with pronounce every words in Urdu zubani. We are proud that we are form this era where we abled to live where Lataji and Yeshudas are with us..We are honoured with them like sandalwood gives its fragrances to other woods..Miss this kind of melodies now
Divine duo. Lataji's silken voice transports you to ethereal heights. Yesudas's bass voice delves into the mysterious depths of the ocean of music. To close the eyes and to be lost in pure emotion is as close as you can get to heaven.
Yesudas has hits in many languages. He entered bollywood in his later years. He sang around 200 songs in hindi. He keeps his divinity in voice through songs
@@SajiThomasGeorge That is a load of garbage. He was the most versatile among the males, granted. However, there are many far better classical singers than Rafi ever was, although he was no slouch at classicals himself, yet definitely not the best in the genre. As for his voice, that's a matter of appreciation - I personally prefer the voices of Kishoreda and Mukeshji to Mohammed Rafi's, and I know many people who think and feel alike. This is entirely subjective, neither fact nor universal. Of course, nobody denies that Rafi was a phenomenal singer, but far greater than any other Indian singer? Not in this life and not in this world. I wouldn't make an opinion like this regarding any singer, including Lataji, let alone M Rafi. Now, I repeat that Rafiji was a real phenomenon of an artist and many of my personal favourite songs were sung by him, but Lataji's contributions to music and art far surpass his, and only she's the Swar Kokila, the soul and voice of Bhārat. Nobody else can make a claim to this title/position other than her, and this is a fact no one can deny. Then again, this comment is not really addressed to you, for the biased mentality and musical blindness of Rafi fanboys and groupies is well known; rather, it is just a general reply to a personal take masqueraded as factual in the form of a comment to a video that had nothing to do with Mohammed Rafi in the first place.
Wow........what a level of melody.....two legends, one unfortunately not with us now. Silken voice of KJY and mellifluous voice of Latha. Soulful,magnificient....we might lose the way searching for superlatives
Please note that Yesudas has got 8 national awards for singing, which is highest record and in next 100 years difficult to break. This is not to undermine anyone. All our top line singers are great, and time tested. If some singer is/was in front line for >25 years is itself testifies his/her greatness, we are none to measure them.
To put it straight it is mix of competing melodies between human voice and Instruments. Great music composition, great melodious rendition and many more appreciations. No words can match the beauty of this song. Rare song indeed. Thanks for sharing this treasure.
