Sometimes the rarity of something can add a sense of value to it - very true of a good day at Padang Padang.
Not that this place needs any value adding.
A relatively easy drop into a perfect pit is pretty much any surfers dream scenario, and there were plenty of those yesterday. The crowd wasn't even as bad as you'd expect for such ideal, barreling conditions.
This hasn't been the biggest swell we've had, but it's hanging in like a champ. It's day three as I write this and there's still plenty of overhead action at the exposed breaks.
The forecast is for a slight drop in size for tomorrow, so there should be waves all over the place 🤙
