That’s why I hate “leftists”. They claim to fight for “PoC” but as soon as you say you don’t care, aren’t offended, or straight up that you like it they immediately pull the “YOU DON’T SPEAK FOR EVERYONE” card. Way to take my opinion seriously.
Don't know where you get this from because I'm a leftie, most people I know are lefties, and pretty much (read: absolutely) nobody are anything like her, at all.
Yeah, doesn't matter how white folks can cook the Mexican cuisine and I don't give a crap about it whether it's cultural appropriation. The only cultural appropriation is you that I can use fork and knife to eat it in western cuisine. I know I'm Asian which doesn't make me offended but only Karen is making it worse and not excuses.
That honestly motives me to try speaking Spanish to strangers. I've been learning Spanish and would love to be able to actually hold a short conversation with someone. and then there's the culture. I've been meaning to look more into it, but the one thing I adore is Day of the Dead. it's a beautiful holiday and it just makes me happy seeing departed family being celebrated
Honestly, seems to be pretty much most cultures. Think the only ones I've seen get skeeved out are aboriginals of America and Australia. And considering what still goes on... Yeeeah kinda fully understandable

With people like this, it's not about the people they claim to be defending, it's about making themselves feel good or important. That's why she just ignores all the pushback she's getting.
Pretty sure it’s the same case for all cultures. It’s cool that people who have no reason to try out new cultures, willingly expose themselves to new experiences. Idk why anyone would be offended.
I would say that cultural development can only happend when we mix a lot of cultures to evolve the best out of every. But on the other side, i must say, that it always depend with what motivation you wear a cloth. Great example for that is the kufia. This was in the '80 a symbol for the leftist in germany to show the solidarity with the palestinians. after 2000 the meaning of the kufia changed in germany to an antisemitism symbol. I own one and like to wear it, but without an politian message. There gives 100% some Naziscum they're wear that for offending, and at this point i will say it is cultural appropriation
As a Mexican man I agree with this. I've never met anybody that has been offended by white people wearing sombreros. It's always the white people getting mad at each other for wearing sombreros

Not only that but it's mostly old people who try to act tough towards. Like I seen a lot of Karen videos. My grandma been accused of one cause of the employees accusing her of stealing. That specific store likes to do that to everyone. They accused my cousin who is a child cause she was playing with slime which was in a different grocery bag. They had a cop there looking into it like she was stealing. She was sitting down playing with slime. Also have you seen the Karen talking someone down for not wearing a mask? An it's not even 2020 anymore so that shouldn't matter. Nobody wears mask anymore where I live. My point here it's not about which side. Swear people focus on politics too much lately. "Oh he disagreed he must be a Republican" or "Oh doesn't like this specific thing he must be a liberal." Why cant it be just a human having a different opinion? Why does politics always have to be involved into everything nowadays? We as humans are way too focused on politics when reality it's just opinions we disagree with so we try to fight over which side is better. Imo since Im not either Republican or Liberal cause it's just a bunch of nonsense opinions grabbing each other's throats. Why does it matter she's a liberal or a Republican? She's still a human right?
