Here's another day in the life of an entrepreneur. I want to keep these and raw and real as possible so you can see what I get up to on a normal day running our businesses.
We start the day at Marsh Farm, walking around the business seeing what needs to be improved before our festival then we head over to our new warehouse for Rossi Ice cream to check out the improvements then we speak to the team at our main warehouse and find out we have major problems... after that stressful moment I have dinner with another entrepreneur to discuss property investments. All of that, plus more crammed into my day so you can see what a real day in the life looks like for a business owner.

Great video. Always love the behind the scenes vids. Let’s be honest. We’re all a bit nosey aren’t we. Always motivating to see a fellow entrepreneur working hard and hustling it. Have you made a video going into how much all your hard work brings home? Not revenue or cash collected. But profit per venture and even now much out of that your keep yourself? And maybe a video on delegation might be good. As you have so much going on and their can’t be any time in the day to do anything other than telling your team what you want? Do you have a process for following up on your instructions?

I enjoyed this video. Its interesting to hear you comment on cashflow. Some months it feels like so much is going out the door but then you calculate what should be coming back in and it's alright, not that it makes it any easier!

Question to business owners. I am sure there is an explanation but as an employee I am wondering something. Scenario: *Co-worker quits. I do my job and their job to cover and make sure the place is running smoothly until someone else is hired. The company, in the meantime is saving the money that would otherwise be spent on that employee. * My Question: Why won’t the company at least pay me time and a half for doing the job of multiple people?

I would be thinking this…. Look at my ability, I could do more. I’m effective. I’m doing the job of 2 with 1. I have saved the company money. I would say…. BTW don’t hire the new person, I can do it on my own. Then say…. If you want any more profit saving tips, just ask me. Giving is the start of receiving. Long term, smart rhetoric like that won’t be missed and you’ll go far. You’ll be getting way more than time and a half.

What's your background James? You seem to be very knowledgeable on the accounting aspects of the business, so I'm guessing the you started in the finance industry? Great videos, have only discovered you today, but loving the "VLOG" element of a business owner.

My background- I was a kids entertainer; learnt the accounts as I went along. I know some but nowhere near what an accountant does.

Ebitda Earnings before interest tax depreciation and amortisation. It’s a way of showing what cash the business is generating to service the above. For example; say you’re servicing 300k of interest a year and 300k of depreciation…. This shows the bank that you’re actually generating good cash.
