This is a real world, first (ok maybe more) impressions hands on with what maybe my new daily driver work machine, the ‪@ASUS‬ Zenbook Duo (2024). The video is probably longer than it should be, but every time I stopped recording, I found something new I wanted to share.

Just received mine a few weeks ago, the Ultra 9 32GB version, and man, I love this thing. My wife doesn't because this is my new toy, and she is already saying I'm spending too much time on it jokingly 😂😂. The features of this thing are incredible, and I'm still learning to work it with the virtual keyboard. I love these OLED dual screens and will probably never ever go back to a traditional laptop again. Great video review 👍🏾.

Thank you. Yeah, I am still digging it. It is my profession daily driver. I had to do to my local Starbucks recently to work (Internet Outage) and I could feel the heat of staring eyes when I unleashed it is it's full glory. LOL. I will try to hit up a follow up video.

@@Digitalmedia4less In the business we call that a "desktop replacement." That term has evolved a lot. We used to use that term to refer to a giant 17"+ "portable" computer. Conversely, this computer would have classic considered an ultrabook. Now, we have a great ultraportable desktop replacement. Interesting.

Thank you for the review Matthew. One question, are you experiencing any wobbling (maybe minimal) on the upper screen while tipping or using the computer in general?

Great question. I am not experiencing any wobble with either screen. It is something that I will keep an eye on and when and if I do the follow up review or update I will make a point to point that out if it's something that occurs.

Not as much as you would think. The screens are OLED, so the screen is shiny. I haven't used it much outdoors, but may I will do an update on outdoor performance. My office next to a window both in my home office and my work office, so reflections have not been a problem. In sum, no there has not been a noticeable amount of reflection so far and it is my daily driver.

It's not plastic it's 90% magnesium-aluminum alloy and the keyboard is aluminum

Thanks for the info. Are you referring to the internal substructure and frame?

@@philwebb67 Cool. I was referring to the external housing. Most internal substructures are magnesium, aluminum, or both. It is an amazing rig, especially for the price. I am not sure how they are pulling a profit.
