A real Katana from Anime! I created Sasuke's Katana from Naruto Manga 

I thought it was a ninjato

It's believed that the first katana was intended to be a ninjatō (chokuto) however during the quenching process of a particular swordsmith, a curve was formed (how the katana/wakizashi get their shape). At least a story I heard indicated that. Felt it was believable. Although I'm not sure if ninjatō have a softer core like a katana. Which also plays a roll in how the katana gets its shape during quenching process

katana means sword, if you say "chokuto" that's the type of sword

Katana in Japanese is a sword. So, the title of this video is actually not wrong because he doesn't mention the name of the type of sword. he said "Sasuke's sword" not "Sasuke's type of sword".

Only thing is that the handle and blade is just a little too short. In both the anime and manga Kusanagi is clearly shown to have a two handed hilt but for some reason all the real world versions that have been made go with a more traditional one handed one. Which would be fine, except those are usually used for swords of a similar design that are the size of a wakizashi. I would love to see a more faithful adaptation of the sword be made someday, not that this wasn't awesome. I would love buy this sword and I really wish we got to see him do some cutting with it.

@@grantpflum6844 Same, I feel like the blade is too short, along with the hilt, like u mentioned. I also feel that the hilt is also a bit too thick as well. Like u said tho, it was still a great build

It looks more like a tanto blade to me than sasuke’s blade

@Bobofreddy The chokutō (直刀, "straight sword") is a straight, single-edged Japanese sword that was mainly produced prior to the 9th century. Its basic style is likely derived from similar swords of ancient China. Chokutō were used on foot for stabbing or slashing and were worn hung from the waist. While The tanto (or tantō) is a dagger, kind of like a samurai short sword. But it is also often used as a knife. The blade can be single-edged or double-edged and was designed primarily as a stabbing weapon.
