Hello folks, in this video, I took the Dji Mini 4 Pro out for a “real” Urban flight test. I wanted to see if Ocusync 4 or as DJI calls it “04” was any better then Ocusync 3+ and if so, by how much. Just wondering when you get time one-day can you do a short video on just how powerful that LED light underneath is as we were thinking of using it for search and rescue at night in Australia. Thanks.. apparently in the settings you can have it on automatic that is the light comes on when you take off at night but there is another setting apparently that you can have it on continuously. Thanks.

@ramroddrone5449 that's correct you can choose how to use the light..i set my c2 button to toggle light on and off at night.. i can answer your question without a video. Its great for take off and landing but def not for search and rescue. Even the Mavic 3 i wouldn't use it... And that's a bigger light.. the problem is how low you need to get for the light to actually light up something so you would really be flying low to light up the ground or anything that you’re searching unless of course you’re in a dark cave lol they do sell lights that will go on all these drones, including mini drones on Amazon, eBay, etc. etc. just be careful what you buy they’re basically very light flashlights that can be turned on or off and pointed in any direction you want that’s probably what you’re gonna want to use if you go with this drone... Hope that helps

Great range. Should have done this in Normal mode. Slower but more efficient use of energy for longer overall range. You are essentially flying with your foot to the floor.

What fine? This is all within REGULATIONS as Stu knows them... Also.. I fly as a hobbyist and therefor I did not sign up to follow all there 107 regulations.. nor do I EVER want to know them..I have a few rules I do follow though...1.... Have fun! In fact isn't that why we bought the drone to begin with? And two be safe do not injure anyone or anything. As long as I follow these two simple rules all is well in phillyland... Hi Mikey! Man I just love your videos. This range test was one of your best by far! If clarity at night is my main objective, you see I’m trying to follow a few burglars in our neighborhood that usually come around 3:00AM, would switching from my Mini 3 Pro to the Mini 4 Pro be worth it. I only would ever dare to fly 2 miles away at the most. Keep ‘em videos coming. Cheers!

Glad I found you on RU-vid. I use to watch your videos maybe just over a year ago when I bought my Mavic Air 2. Loved the drone but I got some bogus info saying you have 5 mins extra over the warning of Critical low battery (basically 0%), and I pushed the limit a little and it made a forced landing maybe 300 meters from Homepoint but unfortunately the force landing was on a walk bridge and fell into water that had a pretty strong current never to be seen again. Anyway back droning just about to buy the Mini 4 pro. Looks awesome, will watch some videos to get use to it and fly maybe April 2024. Kinda of cold in Toronto until then. Love your videos, keep up the good work.

More like 2 minutes than 5 minutes after 0% remaining is displayed. You still have full lateral control even past 0%, so no excuse for not being able to control the location of the landing where any dry land exists below the drone. Decent can also be prevented with full up left stick, while you find a safe and dry landing spot.

No sir. I stay directly straight from myself... Also time of day, weather, wind, etc etc all helps or hurts your signal.. with that being said this new ocusync 04 is different.. it's much stronger..... And goes much further.. thank you for your time buddy.. 💙💙💙 Mikey

Your mini 3 is just as good. Trust me. Camera quality is better on this bird but not allot.. now the 04 is worth upgrading to.. if you live in a city like me.. if not again your mini 3 is perfect.. IMO Mikey

Good video . The mini 4 pro has very good range . A buddy went 31,000 feet over water with plus battery with 18 percent left when landed . 31,000 feet at 65 feet elevation full bars . Drone is battery limited on range

I did the same. Over water. We've 30 thousand with both the mini 3 pro and the Mavic 3 pro. Haven't did it with the mini 4 pro yet.. YET! LOL.. MIKEY
