a REALISTIC week in my life studying abroad in hong kong📎: midterms, balancing school + social life 

all the different scenes and aesthetics, it's so refreshing, this abroad series is literally my fav

As someone who works for a study abroad office at a big university, yes it's a pass/fail system and the grades won't show up for the semester, but you will still receive a transcript of records from HKU. For anybody that wants to apply for graduate programs after finishing their undergraduate studies, the grades you get during your exchange will probably be considered!

honestly, Tracy has genuinlly changed my life and i feel like everyone feels the same way. Tracy should feel so proud of herself for how far shes come, and how much she has inspired and changed peoples lives. we all deserve to say thank you to Tracy xx

Girl you are young... live it up. Have fun. A lot of people don't have the opportunity. Who wants to come back from Japan and just describe what the inside of a class room looks like. Enjoy yourself.

girl enjoy Hong Kong and all the surrounding cities. When I had a 1 month exchange in Japan, we studied yes, but we were mostly sightseeing and experiencing the culture. I hardly stayed in my dorm unless I was sleeping. Learnt way more Japanese going out and experiencing the city. And looking back after 7 years (holy shit), the traveling was way more valuable than some random class I had in uni. Also, as someone who is working now, nobody cares about your grads in uni and nobody cares how much you studied. Seeing that you are studying business and probably not looking at going into academics, as long as you got your certificate (so please still pass your classes), and have good work (and life) experience, you will be fine. Enjoy your youth and travel as much as you can. The traveling you have now is probably way more valuable for your learning than the lectures you are attending.
