2:50 I built one of these yesterday. One thing I noticed is that polarity is not marked on the caps described as tantalum on the build sheet. They certainly do look like tants. There is no orientation on the silk screen print either. The capacitors show as non polarised caps on my component tester.
@@EdHumble Yes, exactly, but in this case, there is no marking on the capacitors, and no marking on the silk screen print. The assembly sheet says "Regardless of the polarity". I'm wondering it these even are tants, although they certainly look like them.
The user manual with the assembly instructions are full of errors. The RU-vid video "Electronic Project (4) Signal Generator, Making a Low Cost Generator" contains the correct manual and instructions at 5:51 (that is 5 minutes 51 seconds into the video). You may have to magnify the video to understand the instructions.
