What parts did you use for it to work with the Switch? There's plenty of controller boards available, but to make it work specifically with the Switch is something I find interesting. Thanks!
I built one of these about four years ago and it’s a blast. I switched out the buttons and joystick. It uses a raspberry pi 3b+ and an iPad 2 screen that I got with a controller board for hdmi in. Screen was $20 back in the day and controller board $15.
I have one of those lying around. What a great idea! Love that you show such a variety of stuff! And thanks as your content is super entertaining and informative.
I have one and am currently waiting for some parts from AliExpress to do the mod. For years wanted to mod it, but just lazy I suppose. Surprised by the lack of tutorials for these iCades modded online. Seems so obvious when you look at it. Anyway, the buttons and joystick are REALLY loud! I can tell you firsthand the constant loud clicking is enough to drive you mad. Lots of travel on the buttons also. Definitely going to look into swapping those out for Sanwa clones or something. Same for the joystick. This is a good setup you have here. Made me more excited about modding mine now.
