Emmanuelle and Ghislain, two tireless adventurers and experimented divers, are throwing a great and unprecedented challenge: dive to the depths of 150 meters… down to the polar abysses, in the heart of Greenland’s most breathtaking fjords.
Why 150 meters? Because that is assumed to be the limit of what the human body can survive in a polar environment. And because these virgin depths are still uncharted by researchers, and harbor a thousand scientific hypotheses that technology has still been unable to answer.
What will they find down there?

I've been interested in the diving hobby but let me tell you it is much more dangerous than I would have expected even in lakes and rivers so this kinda stuff is just insane but awesome

I’ve been in the st Lawrence, and while it’s an impressive body of water, it’s not northern Greenland. This is diving in the extreme.

Those people who think that you are depriving your child by taking him out of their society and letting him experience self-sufficiency, another world, science , learning, different people in a functional small Society are out of their minds! Don't listen to them keep doing what you're doing. There is no place in the world that is absolutely safe. Give the child what you can while you can. God bless.

That kids never gonna do his own thing bc all this is being crammed in his head. Instead of socializing him with children his age doing what kids do. The parents don't realize when you have kids it's not all about you anymore. Didn't they have ten yrs of it before he was born? Not enough I guess. Yeah it's great and beautiful what they are doing but this child needs more of a real life. Sometimes we have to put things in hold in life.

@Kara Rit - It is way less "life-threatening" to take a baby aboard a boat sailing along the coasts of Groenland (not in the middle of nowhere) than to let him/her playing outside in the proximity of a road or taking him to the supermarket in a _world filled with predators walking on 2 legs. Or to let him brainwashed himself in front of the TV or with violent computer games._ *He's discovering LIFE. It's a super precious gift from his parents! A GREAT EXPERIENCE for developing his brain (IQ) & social skills.* *This modern boat is over-equipped with an Iridium satellite beacon* that allows to follow remotely the boat (pointing their position every minutes towards a satellite) & more tech. Plus a team of 6 scientists including _a physician_ & more who always have an eye on him. They even equipped the little guy with a lifejacket of his size. I really feel for your kids : Oreo, Mc Do, Walmart & Battle Royal I suppose... - _Marine Bio-Chemist on this message board_

I don't think it's so much life threatening for the child I just think at his age he needs to be learning age appropriate things. There's time later when he's older to do this . But for now he's missing out on other important things. As far as his parents go they don't want to grow up they had freedom to pursue this.for years. They are in danger. Sharks etc. He could lose one of his parents or both. I know about these things. Seen many.
