This list was based on relatability to the SA masses and both P2 and ILIH don't really carter to the SA audience as compared to Mass Country,Viral and PFTBP. Areece is my GOAT but please don't make it seem like he was robbed, it's a pretty accurate list bro. Yes P2 and ILIH did mad numbers , both projects hit 4 million streams on first week , both projects are already over 11 million streams but this list was not based off numbers . This list was formulated on which albums resonated more to the SA market . Cool , Reece and Nasty did amazing numbers but musically Mass Country,Viral and PFTBP felt more South Ahhh . Don't get me wrong I'm a SA hip hop lover and tbh P2 and ILIH carter more to the true Hip Hop lover's like us but not to the general SA music market . If you get me ?

I'm a Reece fan and as an A Reece fan I can say that P2 was a album filled with very Good Songs and very Average songs, and the mix and mastering wasn't that Great either. As a Reece fan whose has been waiting on a Project for more than 2 years, I still can't believe I'm skipping some songs on the Album, Don't get me wrong the album is not bad just not Areece Level ( Today's Tragedy Tomorrows Memory, From me to You and only you, The Burning Tree, Reece Effect) P2 is uncomparable to the craftmanship of these previous albums, let's be Real Hype if Mega was still alive Mass Country wouldve been Running SA Hip Hop Right now. Compare Mass Country to P2 broo with Mega dead or alive, the Quality Is uncomparable but u won't open your mind And yah u were Right on Nasty, he has Quality music but it just doesn't appeal to SA Hip hop
1st and 4most we have to remember that wen ur independent to the industry ur the enemy coz u have the potential of liberating other artists. So every1 who has a corporate guy behind his platform will see Reece as an enemy. So most platforms will say some positive stuff ant the Boy coz they cnt deny his impact but will low key come after him.

As an Ivyson I've accepted, in SA Nasty will always be questioned for his success. What's funny is that artist like DRAKE & J.COLE and others reaches number one in our music platform's like Spotify in hip-hop because the people love it regardless they do relate. But when Nasty reaches same high level like those artist, his questioned and he doesn't relate to us as SA.

Yeah because A-Reece unlike Nasty, has never catered for southa. Instead it's been the other way around, we've been catering to him. That is why you feel this way, Nasty, topic choices for starters are more diverse in spectrum. Reece is still rapping about getting high to this day.

As a listener of both of them, Nasty C is like a big brother as he shares how he succeeded and how you can do the same (That was the whole theme for Strings and Bling). A-Reece on the other hand dwells on the past and isn't as big as he should be cause he's a bit too careless, and I personally blame he's hun. He's musical mind is crying as Nasty's is uplifting.

The only used a metric when they were talking about Tyson and Thrill. But before that they went and pilled rubbish on top of P2. But we they using the same metric they had to have P2 on 1 because it was culture defining. People were listening and vibing to P2. If we are talking about impact P2 was supposed to be 1. But it's chilled let them do what they want with their platforms.

@the_hype for me Viral is better than P2 for the fact that is has all elements that appeals to everybody. It has classics and bangers...the features were crazy. It's an album for hip hop heads, the ladies, radio.... But my personal favorite album was no doubt P2 but if I had to look at all factors... Viral was for everyone

For me is the audacity 😭💔🤣, imagine failing as a rapper and go to judge the remaining relevant rappers on how to make album of the year😭.. They judge based on favouritism and it’s very clear, Areece & Nasty C outsold Wordz, not just that but when both their albums was released it made more talk on streets than Wordz that I don’t know even a single lyric. Zingah must take all these advices and go to the booth to make a number 1 album of his terms… Judges should be likes of Kwestas , Casper’s, Stogies, atleast rappers that has some sort of catalogue not failed rappers.. he sounds like those Dads that failed to live up to their dreams and now they using their kids to re-live the experience 😭💔… You can never be validated judging an album but you never had a best album in your entire 2 minutes fame
