Mohamad Eyad Albandakyi and his family fled the war in Syria in 2016. In Germany, although he already had a full time job, Eyad decided to get involved in the local fire brigade - as a volunteer. It is his way of saying "Thank you, Germany."

Ein absolutes Vorbild. Willkommen in Deutschland. Ich wünschte es hätten alle Asylsuchenden eine solche Einstellung und soviel Respekt für ihr Aufnahmeland.
