It's always a treat to catch up with your latest adventure, your charming smile and laugh, and to see how tired you looked the following day after all that washing up!
Liking your stories. When I was young I spent a lot of time in the Cairngorms. Thanks for the taste of old times. By the way: the Galloway Hills was my other favourite place because that’s my home area. I hope you’ve been there too.
Another lovely relaxing video...parts of this video are like paintings of wild, beautiful Scotland, the best in the world. Good choice to be away from the Bothy, but near the river. Silence, when you really know it, can be heard, and you heard it here.
Lovely video again Gregor. ❤ I think your decision to move on from the Bothy was the best. Beautiful spot. Thankfully you stayed safe under those trees. Loving your humour & glad cleaning the dishes didn't take too long 😂. Very domesticated. Everytime I see a Pot Noodle I think of you. 😅
It's so good to see you back in such familiar (to me at least), soul enhancing surroundings, the sound of running water, wind in the trees, and bird song. Recipe for peaceful nights' sleep😊 If you had continued a little way on to the confluence with the Derry Water, I knew some perfect camp spots there among the trees, but as it was, you chose well, as you always do!! Perhaps more in winter, but sitting in the tent entry having a meal will instantly attract foraging chaffies, goldcrests, blue and great tit's. The herds of deer gathering around here for feed are nothing but spectacular. The cottage in the distant woods is the late Bob Scott's cottage. Mar Lodge has had a chequered history - it was never a bothy. There are still plans to restore it commercially. Though the potential environmental impact in such an area as this is a major concern.
@endieposts many thanks for the correction! I meant to go back and edit that. It is indeed Derry Lodge. Mar Lodge being the estate name now run by the NTS.
Nice one Gregor, cracking wee camp! I feel sorry for the guys down river going for a drink and it tastes of the dregs of a Bombay bad boy😂 Take care big man👍
This is definitely one of the prettiest and most relaxing videos you've done yet. What a gorgeous forest! Really enjoyed the video, thank you. And, I'm so happy to see you're rapidly getting more subs all the time. You deserve more views! Best wishes to you.
Surprised you’re not sponsored by pot noddle by now 😂 like the wee adventure vids but like to see a multi day hike adventure. Thanks for taking us on your journey.
You make me giggle with your pot noodles. Just glad Si or Kent Survival not tagging along and see your meal choice, they would be mortified 😅 keep them coming 😊
Another good video, The pot noodles, if you keep one in situ then decant others into zip fit bags they will save you a fortune against the camping meals, I would add some smoked pork meat, so a meal would be around £2.00, keep these excellent videos going! Cheers Mark.
With the watching of this top notch video, I've watched every single one of your videos since discovering your channel, and yip, I've subscribed, and have "liked" and commented on every video lol ...... so now all I need you to do, is get ya hairy arse out there and make more videos .... go hard out man, can't wait for the next one
How many wild blueberries there! I went to the Cairngorms national forest 2 ys ago. It was stunning. I still remember that experience into those woods as the best one in my life.
Great video, the Cairngorms are one of my favourite places. Just a thought, if you're making up a route as you go along, is there anyone who'd know where you are if you got into difficulties ?
How can you survive on just one Pot Noodle? I think I'd need at least three... and maybe a big bar of chocolate later...!! Lovely site, though - and you capture it all so well. Thanks!
Love watching your videos mate but you really need to up the dinner menu a wee bit… here’s a wee cheap tip , buy a packet of pepperami chicken bites , full of protein and chuck them in with your pot noodle
Why did you clean your stuff in the river? You should get some water and clean away from the water nobody wants your noodles in there filter down the river thats just common sense
I’m pretty sure he will have eaten it all and a tiny bit sauce from an empty pot noodle container will have dissipated to nothing within a foot of flowing down the river. Chill 😂
