A relaxing walk through Upper Slaughter a quintessential Cotswold village

Upper Slaughter in the Gloucestershire Cotswold's is known as a double thankful village because all those who went away to fight in both world wars returned. The name Slaughter comes from Old English meaning 'muddy place'.The Slaughters are mentioned in the Domesday Book of 1086. After St. Peter’s
We see the The Old School House, now a Grade II listed building.
The village is built on both banks of the River Eye.
We were going to film Lower Slaughter bur it was like Brighton beach on a bank holiday Monday.
Walk taken on Sunday afternoon on the last day of May 2020

Wow! Relaxing indeed! 😍😍😍 I love how the kid enjoys in the pond. Very serene! Everywhere you look is lush of greens! I can sit in there forever and enjoy the view while having a cup of coffee! Beautiful! Thanks for making is experience this. ❤️

I was going to ask about the name but you put that in your description. The river that cuts the road at 4.44 is interesting. Nice place for a sunday walk. Do they have B&Bs or cafes, I didnt see any economy.

Mr. Joshi thank you, it’s nice to know we have improved we only use an iPhone an cheap gimbal. But earlier we just didn’t know what we were doing, watching others like you helps a lot. I want to put our collection of old photos of Central Park but am wondering if we should. What do you think? 🎥👍🌈
