Military working K9s don’t typically go with their former handlers unless arrangements and timing can be made. In some cases it works out! This video shows how amazing these pups are and the life they live after service!
That was so wonderful and joyful. He looks so happy, and being silly. A real good sport about the dress ups. At the end he has a cape on. SUPER DOG!! HE ALWAYS GETS HIS MAN!! Most of all, because he’s now retired, he gets to be a family dog and trust and cuddle and go do fun things now. This is beautiful.
Yes this baby served and now it is his time to be served !! He is in the right place , he is loved and respected , a big shout out to his partner Thank you for your service . Thank you to your family for being so wonderful ! We can never do with out you !! ❤️🤍💙
Rightfully spoiled rotten!!!🥰🥰🥰 This gorgeous boi kept his handler save all those years, I’m so happy to see that - and now he’ll be protecting the rest of his handler’s family. It couldn’t not have turned out any better than the current outcome. God bless your family 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Well that was absolutely beautiful❤ Well we can tell who he adopted 😂 That little girl has the best protection now I really feel like K9 Officers should be able to retire and live out the rest of their days with their Partner, their Best Friend, their family 🥰
All the K9 handlers I know do have the first option to keep the retired K9 home, but they are fully responsible for their care. If a dog has been injured in the line of duty, their lifelong care should be covered by the department, as it can be very expensive (and I'm told the handler can't get the pup covered with pet insurance). Most handlers are also given another K9 to work with if they choose to stay in the program. A handler I knew said his new partner did not get along with his old partner, so the old K9 had to be re-homed.
Awesome and they let him love out his days with his handler. They didn't dump him in a shelter or there was no arguing about euthenizing him, respect to the LEO department head!!
So happy to see a working K9 either a MWD or police K9 STAY with his handler that he was bonded to and live the life in retirement. He looks so amazing, happy and socialized. He is having his best life in retirement. Pray for ALL LEO and Military that put themselves in harms way to keep US safe. God bless all 2 leg AND 4 leg officers and soldiers
He has SO much personality!! Love that he gets to be with this wonderful, loving family in his retirement! They are certainly giving this Sweetheart his very best life!♥️♥️♥️
TEARS we just lost our 14 year old. His dad was a cadaveer police dog. He was all about the scent. Its only been 3 days and seems like a lifetime of deep sad whole in heart. #PrayersfrmorRambo. :(
That is so cute, my heart is so full, with love and gratitude. Thank you to The Officer and his two K-9's for their service. With your family, may you find peace, and contentment there.🇺🇸🙏💙💙
I echo many of the previous comments. What a happy boy! He is so chill with his family and has learned to trust and love every one of you. Wouldn't it be great if all retired military dogs could have this same life?❤😊
Zoooo geweldig om te zien alle liefde en aandacht die hij en papa zo verdienen ik hoop dat de familie nog heel lang van elkaar mogen genieten heel veel liefs uit Nederland ❤❤❤
From hardened street cop to instant pupcup connoisseur, upside down slug-o-bed and shameless fur baby in no time flat. And earned it all. Glad to see doggo BE a doggo!

That just made my day! That is absolutely beautiful! This is what every retirement should be for these amazing, beautiful k9's. They did their jobs and should be awarded with love and kindness. Y'all are absolutely amazing, beautiful people. Thank you so much for sharing and being so sweet to that beautiful sweetheart!❤❤
This brought tears to my eyes. The K9s are incredible dogs and I love watching these. You have a beautiful family and a hero there. Thank you for your service to both the K9 and the officer. Be well 🐕💙
