Aren't we all thankful that Bunny Williams never grows tired of what she does? A great book review from someone who loves what she does. Thanks Mary for this inspiring time well spent with you and Bunny!
I'm a wallpaper girl and found the wallpaper in Bunny's book stunning. Thank you for sharing. I also enjoyed the tour. As a landscape painter, I am grateful that I have nontoxic options to choose from. I imagine that a lot of artists suffered physically in the past.
Dear Mary!!! I don't recall how I found your channel but I am so very happy that I did!! You have the loveliest voice. I have always enjoyed decorating my living spaces and find great joy in doing so. Thank you for sharing Bunny's gorgeous interiors. She is so very talented. You also have a gorgeous home!!! It is obvious that you have an eye for beauty and comfort!!!
Omg!!!! What a treat. Just got back from vacation a few days ago To find out that there’s a massive monster heading our way towards Tallahassee. I’ve been talking down my museum/home trying to protect my treasures. And I just had to stop before I go crazy. Grab my phone and there, was this awesome beautiful video. Thank you so much for the distraction. It was needed badly. I hope it doesn’t turn into a cat5 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ See you next week.❤
@@shirleystarling7300 I love her designs for many reasons, but I think I really enjoy the fact that she credits most of her education to Sister Parrish and Albert Hadley.
Thank you Mary! Delightful video. Bunny Williams is my all time favorite Designer and I love looking at everything she does, as it is so beautiful. I really like oysters and had them fresh in Washington state where I am from, however, I am thinking not in ice cream!!! I noticed your pause when you said “oysters in ice cream” you let us think about that for a moment 😮. I so look forward to your videos. I make a fresh coffee, relax and enjoy your videos. Thank you so much!❤
I love Bunny Williams, her designs are comfortable and beautiful. The historic home tour and your accompanying history is wonderful. Thank you for sharing both these beautiful things.
I know you have a life outside these videos, but I sure do wish you could produce one a day. They are such a joy for me. And for me, there are the three: Bunny Williams, Nina Campbell, and Charlotte Moss. Oh and Timothy Corrigan.
Another lovely video Mary . I do look forward to Fridays and your wonderful book reviews. Bunny Williams , she is just it, isn’t she? Such a talented designer whose story of how she grew into the business of design is just as beautiful and thrilling as her designs. Thank you for the historic tour of these homes. How interesting about the paint colors. What great insight his grand niece had to invest and ultimately preserve her family’s home and heritage. Have a great week!
There used to be a TV programme many years ago here in Australia where a panel of antique dealers etc, would try to guess what some very odd arcane objects from the past were, and what their use was. When I saw that unusual wooden cradle on the side board, I immediately wondered what it was for. I never figured it for a giant cheese wheel holder😮. Thank you for an educational tour of those historic Mordecai buildings.
Lovely book choice this week. Even a brief glimpse of the delightful photography provided inspiration. Certainly a book for the shopping list. Wasn’t that yellow ochre house stunning? I am however drawn to the green cabin and can’t help wondering how another certain green cabin is settling into its surroundings. Thankfully arsenic is no longer used in paint production….. lucky for Daniel. While in the throes of a fit of the vapours during the construction it would have been all to easy to don a pair of Victorian lace gloves, scrape off a few flecks of paint and secret them in his greens for dinner.
Love Bunny , was so lucky to buy chinoiserie tea caddy from John when he and Bunny moved into her house in New York. I purchased it from Stair Auction and it is one of my favorite possessions. The ochre house makes me tingle, so gorgeous . Thanks Mary, love as always .
All of Bunny Williams' interiors have such warmth, no matter how elegant they are, and never look "tortured," as Robert Kime, my idol, would say of some overly decorated interiors. I think I've committed to painting my studio a deep golden yellow, and thanks for your input. It faces east, so in the morning it might be a bit much, but I hate mornings, that's when it's time to go to bed, so I'll never see it then. I agree, the chaise longue in the Mordecai home is a thing of beauty.
HI Mary , hope you and Daniel is doing well ! Who doesn't love Bunny!? she has amazing style. Thank you for the historical home tour .. I truly enjoy seeing the past and if walls could talk!! Have a joyful weekend , Paula
