For me the Lx570 carries the day.I like the way you reviewed it.Driving a range rover, is like wearing a white suit. You must constantly watch where you seat.
That's a society problem- we lack the brains and facilities to run and maintain certain cars. Lexus LX & Toyota landcruisers are rare in Europe and America compared to Range rovers.
No one owns a Range Rover as the only car, it's usually the third or fourth car in the garage. You need to have lots of money to properly service it and keep it on the road. Si gari ya kuendea sukuma kwa kibanda, it's a status and statement car. It's supposed to be your go to place for peace or to make big money moves, so anyone complaining or comparing it to the G wagon cannot afford it. That's exactly why it's still the best SUV out there, juu si ya kila mtu na hakuna mtu anahate on it anaezaiafford.
Well, I would say that the term "reliability" is relative to someone thinking of owning such a car, we can still argue that frugality is one character(s) of the rich but sometimes it good to get the best life can give and for me I'll be bias and lean towards the autobiography. I've enjoyed the review guys asante kwa kazi poa na mubarikiwe.
Aki my uncle got a 2012 of this ride.. ilianza kuitisha 3 years later, money pit is an understatement. It's parked at his house imefunikwa na tent, he opted to get a Toyo Land cruiser. Less Hustle.
@@lonelion8098 Mechanics are not the problem, it's the car version that is problematic... He replaced the engine and gearbox at 1M. The electricals began failing. Eventually he just bought a landi , it's been 2 years and his is just service to service...
Wokabi…a few corrections on your review…1. the RR and the disco share the terrain response 2 platform 2. Depending on the trim level, some vogues do come with automatically deployable side steps. Otherwise good review
Land rovers are known to turn a user to a mechanic, or at least a technician. The difference with being a land rover vs another car owner is that land rover owners have a 'love affair' with the car, and that makes all the difference. While to everyone else a car is a tool, to a land rover owner, a land rover is more than that. Possibly an expensive pet, companion or something along those lines. When you start thinking along those realms, it makes sense to purchase a Range Rover.
Guys guys guys.. this is the king of Off Road! Take it off road then do this review again. Second, the problem is not the car, the problem is the half-baked mechanics we have everywhere in Kenya. To me, it only looses one point.. the infotainment system is a bit slow. But even with that flaw, it floors both the ugly G-Wagon and the Japanese Lexus.
What do you guys mean that because of the tech, you cant take this car offroad? Do a sesh where you actually take the car off road and test the tech jameni....wacheni kuwa opaque
Someone with the money to buy an autobiography can't worry about its maintenance costs because they get what they are paying for, it's not a newbies' car
Awesome review, but you guys are missing the point, wish you guys could be having an off-road segment and only then will you realize the full capability of this machine off-road.
One time a rich kid lost the aunti he was driving a Porsche panamera n he told us we go home to fetch a good off roading vehicle den I was surprised wen took a range Rover for burial 😂so don't say it won't go off road
However much I am a Land/Range Rover fan, I ask myself if this will be a good car to drive in my Baringo rural outback?!😂😂 With that I prefer the G wagon. The Range is much of an urban/highway traveller.
Watch SUV Battle channel and you will clearly see you can take this car offroad, any day and time, espeically if you get the option with the higher profile tyres.
Hello Erick ,stop complaining about this car, the problem is you guys ,this car has the best of the best in the car industry so for you to complain with your team that the has more unnecessary tech that its on you ,do you know the car that has more advanced tech the more problem its solves ,so why don't you put those tech in to practical and compare with other cars tech then comeback and conclude that the car has unnecessary tech.
The car has the Tech to even do Rock crawling, but are you going to take a car with this kind of delicate aesthetics off roading? Road low profile tires? That will be a remedy to break something experience
Interesting review. The diesel power train, is no doubt, the best thing I like about this vehicle. Unfortunately, poor quality of diesel fuel in our part of the world, and the unnecessary technology have together conspired to make this vehicle, inherently unreliable in the short to long term: A beautiful, but nagging wife. I am told it does not have too many DPF issues. Can you comment?
