Queen of Color strikes again! You make using a palette knife look so easy. Thanks again for all the tips and tricks you shared tonight. It'll be super seeing you both live next Monday 🤞 Thanks Ginger and Jon for sharing another Monday night of painting with us. A H TTFN 🖌🎨☺
Another stunning painting!! And a fabulous tutorial!! This is another one of those paintings I wish I could just step into, and explore the world! I am going to watch again on the other palette knife tutorials as well, as I am not feeling comfortable using them yet! I know it is all about practice practice! Really enjoyed chatting with you both last night, and with the rest of the art community! Ginger and Jon, I want to thank you both again, for all that you do!! Have a great week!! HAH! 🥰
Already got a start on this tonight.....such a beautiful painting I couldn't resist....think I will stop and wait for daytime light though! Love it Ginger!
Wow dear Ginger !! That is one place we all want to be in !! I can almost feel the warm breeze by the sea and those magic colors you create just make it a little paradise !! How nice would that be if we could have such a tranquil place to just be…..and enjoy that beautiful scenery and just listen to the waves crushing gently on the seashore while those amazing flowers make you smile and embrace the moment ! It takes a Master Painter like you Our Queen of Color to capture a moment in time in all its glory ! How can we not love You and Jon ?! ….Impossible not to !🥰😁💕 sending you many strong HAH and love ….. Lorraine 🥰❤️💕🎨
Oh gosh, time goes by and I wish we had more time to just visit and chat again like in Spain last year. We will be in Barcelona this fall for a day before flying to Venice. It is our last big trip for while as next year we will just hang out at the house and save so we can travel again.
Such a gorgeous and relaxing scene. This is the kind of scene that I imagine when I wish to take my mind off from a migraine. I imagine the sounds of the waves and calm of the beach. I love that you did this one with a palette knife. My favorite kinds of paintings are those that make you just want to reach out and touch them. Thank you so much for explaining so well how to do this one. You are Jon are the BEST!
Thanks so much, I am sometimes late in responding but Jon and I so appreciate you and all you do, and reading your kind comments makes our hearts sing.
I am in love with this one! The colors are spectacular! Thank you for showing off your amazing talent for placing colors exactly where they need to be! Blessings to you both and safe travels…
I missed live... so will ask here... When doing palette knife work, do you use heavy body paints or can you use regular acrylic paints? I love this landscape and that you are giving such excellent instruction in using palette knife to create it... amazing.. thank you for pushing me to think out side my usually comfort zone. Beautiful, colorful and inspiring landscape painting today. Thanks Ginger.
WHat brand is the turquoise that your using tonight? Is that southern blue Mattisse? What other color than blue can I use for the long distance mountains?
