As a Steelers fan I always looked forward to their matchups. They never disappointed.

I was at that game, sat in the middle level, end zone where Holmes caught the TD pass. Didn't think he was in until the replay showed on the big screen. Then I knew! The referee got it correct. Inches. What an experience and more important what a game! Steelers Ravens almost always is close, hard hitting, great football.

It’s important to remember that the Ravens were art modells team. A team that was the original Cleveland browns. Art Rooney and Art Modell didn’t like each other and the rivalry goes back to the original browns. The Steelers/Browns rivalry was pretty nasty when I was a kid in the 80’s and 90’s when the browns were certainly more competitive. Now the Browns/Steelers rivalry is mostly ceremonial IMO. But I feel the hate of Art Modells team has never stopped

Aside from the Packers/Bears rivalry, no other rivalry comes CLOSE to this one. So many hard hitting, closely contested, high stakes games of the late 2000s, early 2010s. Not to mention all the players: Roethlisberger and Flacco, Polamalu and Reed, Harrison and Lewis, and so on...

I don't get it: If this game is in high-definition, how come it isn't taking up the entire screen like a game I recently watched between the Cleveland Browns & the Baltimore Ravens from late-2018, for example?... I remember watching this game from late-2008 on TV when it first happened as of it were literally yesterday & at the time, I still had a standard-definition TV & that's what it looks like, here--even when it's upscaled/etc. to 1080-HD on RU-vid.

5 commercials before the 18th minute. I'm fine with some ads. But I'm not going to reach for my phone every 150 seconds to skip an ad. Was excited to be able to watch some older games. Not gunna do it with an ad every 2.5 minutes.

Actually, this Rivalry began December 14 2001. The Steelers defeated the Ravens in Baltimore on ESPN 26-21 to win the last AFC Central Title before the Realignment took place in 2002. 5 weeks later Pittsburgh sent the defending Super Bowl Champion Ravens home with a 27-10 Divisional round Victory

I always thought the winning TD highlights and inconsistency in the rules. It really makes little sense that “possession with feet or knees in the end zone, but the football out is a TD when in all other circumstances when the ball is shy of the plane it is not. I mean, do we care where the ball is, or a key portion of the man catching it!

Ummmm the rivalry was 12 years old when this game "started" it. These teams hated each other from the start based on their being the Browns in new clothes.

All that ball has to do is cross the first part of the endzone line. It didn't matter if his feet were in the endzone. He caught the ball in the endzone, end of story.
