During a quick road trip in southwestern Colorado, I stopped off in Telluride, Colorado. I was there last in the early 90s with my brother for a mountain biking trip -- the town has changed so much since I was there last! The free gondola from downtown Telluride to Telluride Mountain Village didn't yet exist.
I love mountain towns, and Telluride was spectacular. It's in a box canyon, with mountains on three sides, and it's such a great spot to explore -- wish I had more than just one day! Can't wait to go back.
