I used to listen to this song when I was devastated by the breakup of my 6 year long term relationship and I cried alot and being nostalgic. But fast forward after 4 years listening to this song again and I just enjoy this song the way it is. No flash backs and certain memories.

This is probably my favorite A Rocket To The Moon song. It's beautiful, and sad, and heart-felt. Nick's voice seems to come so easily to him, it's flawless and beautiful, and this acoustic version was absolutely amazing. (And by goodness, I want an acoustic bass! Nobody believes me when I tell them it exists. I like playing acoustic guitar better. [: )
I'll always faintly remember my first love. I became many things in life to try and erase it or I became those things thinking it would bring it back... wealthy, trendy, smooth, tough, athletic, but man becoming all of those things didn't erase her. I still love her somewhere deep down. I guess I don't want who she is now, both completely different now, its more of a love for what we had. Moral of the story don't dwell too hard on your old loves think about the good times, be happy you were a part of it, keep them somewhere with you but ultimately look forward to new love and a life of possibilities and awesomeness.

Guys, this song was originally recorded years ago! If you look at any band then you'll see that the lead singer's voice has changed, so he won't be able to sing old songs the same, it doesn't make Nick a bad singer.
