I know it’s a bit late for an on point comment however much like your friend in the last 3 years I have been fortunate to pick up 5 Sports model watches from my AD. A bi metal Black Sub and Black Daytona and an Airking, a Starbucks Sub and recently the latest Panda Daytona. I do have other watches but I haven’t been coerced to buy anything other than on my wish list. Only Rolex left for me is that gorgeous Polar Explorer 2 you have or if they relaunch the Coke.

Nice video, my favorite I already have through gray market purchasing. Sea Dweller 43mm 50th anniversary, Two Tone Sea Dweller 43mm and the Skydweller Blue Dial. I’ve been 4 on the wait list for the Polar Explorer II at 3 different ADs in NY and Miami FL, no call, I never had a call from Rolex, and won’t expect one anytime soon 🤷🏻♂️, but good luck on your Milgauss 👍🏽
@@BowlOfSalmon Here and there you might find an Explorer 2 polar for low prices but they tend to be the older models, the newest model is almost identical but with the crown in between the Swiss Made, new clasp/bracelet and 72hrs power reserve, this one won’t go down to a reasonable price probably ever, AD is the way to go.
My first rolex at AD was a milgauss z blue and second watch a rootbeer. At the time, both models traded slightly lower on secondary market and is probably the reason why I got on the list. I sent an email, they had no clue who I was or any way to assess me as a person. So I guess miracles do happen

Another banger video. From microbrands to Rolex, you make some amazing videos. I hope to one day be allowed to buy the GMT Pepsi (I also hope for a GMT Coke if they release one). But I also have a lot of other brands and watches I want to add to collection, so I am in no hurry.

@@BowlOfSalmon for several years now rumours are that the Milgauss will be discontinued…just like the Air King and look what happened to that one. I bet it’s here to stay and the blue with green sapphire is the most striking one of them all ⚡️🔥
I'm waiting on an Explorer II primarily, with a GMT Master II "Batman" just down the list from the black or polar dial Explorer II. We will see how long it takes. It's closing in on 4 months, which is not too long in the Rolex scheme of things, sadly. That is really impressive that you got the GMT Master that "quickly'." I figured it would take several years. As for what I would like to see out this year, I think the return of a "Coke" GMT Master II would be amazing. The Milgauss is either due for a freshening or being killed off. I don't know which is going to happen. I would love to see more Explorer I varieties, including a larger version. That is very much wishful thinking though. I would also like to see an additional steel Submariner color. I think the sizing is absolutely perfect on my wrist and I get why people love them, but the black dial is a bit unexciting and the green bezel isn't for me. It is frustrating that they have blue on the gold models.
Should I buy a ROLEX DAYTONA ROSE GOLD 116505 BRAND NEW B&P 2022 IVORY DIAL? Been offered it for £45000. Let me know your thoughts on whether it is a good investment or not. Thanks
