Elemental" is an original film inspired by Peter Sohn's childhood in New York. "My parents emigrated from Korea in the early 1970s and set up a grocery store in the Bronx," says the director. "We were one of those families who ventured into a new country with dreams and hopes - all together mixed in a great bath of cultures and languages in pretty little neighborhoods. That's what led me to 'ELEMENTAL'".
