In today’s video I get pulled in to do my very first truck inspection at the weigh station & I got nervous!!! then we cook some delicious Japanese a5 wagyu & extra spicy ramen. Sit back & relax!
I know the truck inspection at the scale was probably not so fun, but they are useful. Unfortunately, there’s some rogue truck drivers out there. We had one that was just found guilty of killing 4 persons in Laval. Trucks are huge and can be dangerous in not in order. The inspector was respectful and seemed quite fair.
I had no idea how trucking works and what their day-to-day is until I came I across your channel. I don't have any experience or anything but watching your videos makes me relaxed and keeps me interested with everything about your job. Keep it up!
you have option , you can get your cdl and if truck driving is not for you you can join the airforce and work a 9-5 office job aswell , which is cool , get alot of benefits , a place to live your own room, free food , and you dont have to go to iraq or nothing like that , you can get a job as banker or office job in the airforce or firefighter or as a truck driver . you have options
Thank you so much Alex for those words, you inspire me very much and i needed those words. i love your truck cooking videos by the way. Have a Blessed Day Alex!
Hello Alex! Hope you’re doing fine on this wonderful day! I just wanna tell you something. Your my favorite trucker RU-vidr out there, me as an 11 yr old who’s autistic, your inspire me so much to be a trucker, you teach me so much about trucking. You also made my dream of wanting to be a trucker be my dream job. Alex thanks for making the best trucking RU-vid channel, I love your content. I got a few questions. Question 1, Hows the life of being a trucker? Question 2, I’m from Iowa and I live in Iowa but like, in Iowa there’s no such thing as blinker fluid, I’m starting to think blinker fluid might only exist in the western states of the USA.? Question 3, Hows it like being a trucker? Btw I appreciate you hauling stuff for the community. Question 4, should I be a company intrastate trucker and haul stuff only in state, or should I be a company driver and drive to different states, or should I try to be an owner operator? Considering I’ll graduate in 2031, if I learn how to be a trucker in trucking school faster then the other people and I only have to do at least 4 months of trucking school up to a few years by 2031, it’ll prob take that long by then, and considering diesel prices and fuel prices might go up to 10$ a gallon by then. Thanks for replying to my comment in the Faze Rug surprising your son vid. Alex I’m so happy and you inspire me so much, you and your son trucking together is so cute, and I used to go trucking with my old owner op dad who had a manual 389, and hauled steel from Chicago to Kansas, and to Kansas to Chicago and then Denver, but on his way to Kansas he would take me and my other sister sibling got favorited by him. But on his way to Kansas he could pick us up on his way to Chicago then after he done taking us to Chicago (btw me and my sister would go separately on the semi) back to Iowa and meet my mom at a truck stop and drop us off there. Alex if you see this thanks for taking time out of your day to read this comment. (Please ping) :>
You dont have to answer his questions. You have to give him what he asks for but you dont have to answer his questions, ever. You just say “I dont answer questions”. Works for the cops as well.
What is the name of the hotplate you use? I am about to start a career as a Long Haul Trucker and I could use one of those. Great videos also bro. Keep it up!
Those violations are noted for you to fix and next time if you get stopped and the same violations are brought up, they may fine you. Those are not OOS-able, per say. I got pulled in i5 N in castaic and had a small air leak, headlight blinker was not functioning properly and ABS needed to be repaired. I repaired those issues and stopped in again to get a re-inspection to get the sticker, but they told me just drive in and when my turn comes, at least those issues are fixed. Some stuff does fly by us so it is helpful they remind us of the small things, and they’re just doing their job. I want flares instead of triangles. Damn things are always breaking and falling over. 🤦🏻♂️ cool vid bro.
i love your channel man. it's super relaxing and you remind me of my dad because he did this my whole life (he still does), so it gives me nostalgia. thanks for all you do, it's dope as hell, you inspire me for real.
Its awesome those core memories. I remember when i was a kid went to a wwe match Rey mysterio was my favorite at the time i had a mask cheering as he enters and next thing i know he points right at me it was amazing at the time.

Yo... When opening cans of pop, I always use the side of my thumb to tap the top several times right where it opens. This settles the carbonation down. I do this whether the can whether or not the can was shaken.
It was really rainy in yesterday and today here in central California . Cuz me and my dad had to drive a tractor across the rows in our farm field in Tulare yesterday and we had to do it before the wind and rain but it was too late and it started to come down hard and today where I live in Hanford it was raining hard this morning and early afternoon
You seem to stay entirely in the state of California. I am OTR, the only thing I dislike about CA, is Los Angeles. That place is a total nightmare. But anywhere else is usually a chill pickup/delivery.
13:29 it's always bizarre seeing some content creators handle their food like this. instead of just flipping or laying something delicately, they choose to handle it like an immature child playing with their food.
Hey Alex! Love your videos! I was wondering what kind of stove/pot combo that is. My mom does van life and I think this would be a great gift for her! 😊
I seen you pulled over on the 99 north in Bakersfield that night ! Lol you shoulda ran the scale bro ! that Valencia scale doesnt chase after the sun goes down 😂😂 glad I skip it no time for all that BS🤷🏻♂️🚛💨💨💨

It sucks getting pulled in at a scale I did once in Pennsylvania they were strict got a violation for not having all 3 triangles and one for the steer tire being worn it was unlevel the company paid it ever since I came off the road to spend time with my family
Hey Alex I stop at the truck scale in castaic everyday and you got lucky you got that inspector hes really cool there’s other ones that are more strict
