Coming into this I had crashed hard 3 weeks prior and just starting to feel somewhat competent again...

Tough to watch. It was unavoidable for me in that moment. I’m the guy in front of you on the ground with the wind knocked out. I also broke my back, but luckily avoided being paralyzed. I’m recovering from surgery that fused my whole thoracic spine. I may return as a TT guy, but no more crits. Be safe my friend.
