Love the pink shampagne colour used, the beads, and the crystals too. It has this Parisian feel to it, would definitely do something similar if I were planning a baby shower but I would use an alternate colour for black though it works well with the rest of the decor in this case.

I have a local rental company to come in and do the pipe and drape. They deliver, set up and take down. Much easier and efficient for me. The crown is hung using two clear push pins believe it or not...And the balloons is actually blown up using helium and attached to a small curtain rod by the lip of the balloon... Melanie, BEAUTIFUL as always ! I could see you having an event every weekend of the year, I'm assuming your not only very talented, very organized in what you do, and how you do it, but I'm also assuming your very affordable, which is great for the first time parent's, heck eve the 12th time parents ! I just hosted a baby shower for my son and his wife, and I kept the receipts just so I'd have an idea of what it coasted me in the end, and I've been to afraid to count it all up, LOL and I did make a lot of the items, all the food myself, ( we had a hotdog bar with hotdogs, chili, cheese, slaw, chip's, condiments, and then a dessert plus a Hugh candy bar with like 10 different type's of candy, all pink's, as I'm getting my first granddaughter, and I also had two different type's of cookie's, pretzel sticks, rice crispy treats with pink chocolate ) I know not counting any of the gift's just the décor, food, gifts for the games we played, etc. I probably spent over $300.00 as soon as I do the math I'll let you know. I did shop with coupon's, hit sale's, and shopped my home as I'm always buying platters, candles, cute vases, and all kinds of dishes. which always come's in handy, where it's for a shower, party or just a family get together !Again, This is BEAUTIFUL ! I'm interested in event planning and would like you advice. When doing events, do you use plastic or real plates. I want to buy and use real plates, but clean up comes into play. What is your suggestion, especially when decorating and using charger plates?
I use both, however, if I am setting the table with them I am using real plates or chinette plates. Otherwise, they are housed on the food table. If the event is small just throw them in the dishwasher... if it is larger, I use the clear plastic ones... I always try and use chargers if there is enough room on the table {without making it look crowded} because they take your event up a notch and protect your linens.

Cute, but assuming your client is having a girl, I would have preferred the black be the accent color rather than the pink. Looks kind of Victorian or Gothic to me. Not bashing just my opinion.
