"Most Syrian refugees are educated, middle-class people", Seriously? Would you mind providing some definitions and numbers to support that assertion? The average Syrian wouldn't qualify as "middle-class" so how is the majority of refugees educated AND middle class? There are numerous other statements that are either so subjective that they're almost worthless, and others that are simply false. Good grief!
+Adam Simpson unless you weigh education by the measure of their English skills, you are quite misinformed. Prior to the Syrian war Syria's literacy rate stood at 86%. So yeah, a majority of these refugees are educated.

So, no, the literacy rate of refugees in Jordan (and double or triple the rate of illiteracy - which btw does not equal "educated" in any true sense of the word....I have no idea why you equate the two) pales in comparison to those either fleeing to other areas, especially Lebanon. No to mention those that remained in Damascus. Sorry, but your use of statistics is beyond poor. And my point, which was stated clearly, is that "the average Syrian, even before the war, wouldn't qualify as 'middle-class'..." And that is true, even inside of Syria. I actually lived there (in Aleppo), and even those that are literate, AND well-educated, lived on an income, and a lifestyle, that was not "middle-class". Unless you want to change what that term means today; and, change it drastically. College graduates living on an income of (pre-war) $250/month is not middle class. And that makes up roughly 70% of the college grads that I knew. So, no, the majority of refugees are not "educated", just because a decent number of them can read.
actually at Jordan No I don't think so.. most of them here are kids wife's and old men.. the young educated class is not in our camps here most of them now are out of the Arab world
