From the moment you enter the main lodge area, you immediately get a wow factor. The décor, the river and outdoor spaces are all simply stunning. But Sanctuary Olonana is much more than just beautiful. The level of service you get from their team is also worth that 6th star and ultra luxury title.
Now let's talk about the river suite. Those suites are some of the largest safari accommodations you can find here in Kenya. The suite is divided in four different areas. First we have the main room with a king size bed, vanity and working desk. From there, the very large bathroom with a three headed shower, double sink and a bathtub overlooking the Mara river. The third section is the living room with a large seating area also offering a stunning view and finally the outdoor space which is the perfect place to relax.
Finally, the location of Sactuary Olonana is more than ideal for game drives. The Mara Triangle is a beautiful area filled with animals from elephants to lions and if you are a bit lucky like we were, rhinos and leopards.
Overall, a fantastic luxury travel experience. A new favorite for us after visiting over 70 different safari camps and lodges. If you are looking to plan a high end safari but don't necessarily want to stay in a tent, this is the camp for you. The Olonana safari camp is everything wilderness with the amenities of a hotel.
