Site of the first ever World of Outlaws race in March of 1978, Devils Bowl Speedway in Mesquite, Texas is set to host the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series one final time for the final event before the track is sold. We salute Lanny Edwards, his staff, and everyone associated with the Devils Bowl Speedway and simply say...Thanks for the Memories.

It hurts to see racetracks close, especially historic tracks like Devil's Bowl Speedway. I wish I lived closer to the track so I could have gone. Thank you to all employees and racers, past and present, for giving fans around the globe excellent racing to watch!

The fact that this track was the very first race ever for the WoP Sprints and will now be gone is not only sad, but criminal as well. Devil’s Bowl is a historical track (mainly cuz of the first race) and to see it gone is sad…

Hate seeing tracks close. The locals will be the first to bltch. If the locals actually showed up and supported these tracks, they wouldn't close. Always wanted to go to the devil's bowl, just never made it there. Long drive from Ohio

I live in Texas I've been going to the Devil's bowl for fifty years , l go to the that track more than any other around ,that has nothing to do with the selling of this track .

@@cliff4695 The owner of the track before he past away told his son when the time is right to sell the track several things going on in that area so the time is right. There are several good tracks around but this was the only half mile track the very best track around was sold 15 years ago Thunderbird Speedway both of my childhood tracks will be gone , l guess nothing last forever except memories.

This is a great video, but I'm seeing too many places like this (not only race tracks) sold. And then they turn into warehouses or some nonsense.

Nice facility the racing sucks its follow the leader been there probably 500 times over the years seen alot of great drivers there was at the first race but didn't go watch the last ones

I have only been 4 times since devil's Bowl speedway opened And every time I been to devil's Bowl speedway except one time it's been a world of outlaws sprint car series show
