Big logs are a fun challenge. Had to teeter a giant walnut log to back the dumptrailer under it, hold the brakes in park as my brother pushed it in with the skidsteer. Could only lift 1 side at a time. 11ft long, 43" on small end, 56" wide on top of log. Had 36" diam branches. We got it slabbed already. Custom guy with a 60" bandmill. air drying it 1st. Before we load it in our kiln. Since walnut takes 2wks per " of thickness to dry at the minimum. 661 with 42" bar is my go to for big logs

The 2nd piece would make an interesting mantle or bar top, assuming it's still solid, if not lots, if firewood..😁👍

Probably a good thing that you left little bob at home for this one. Curious on how old the tree was.....

Thank you captain obvious for pointing that out… clearly Mike.. it’s a dump trailer.. but If your interested in donating me a log truck to use and on top pay for the running costs and insurances.. I’ll proudly accept :).. and then I’m sure you can tell me what Im doing wrong with that too👍🏻
