Unacceptable. The bus driver should be in contact with the bus dispatcher via the radio. If that doesn't work, pull over and call the office on your cell. And unless he was somewhere out in the wilderness, why couldn't the cops find the bus?
i doubt they even have a properly trained dispatcher, and if they do the one person probably left once their shift was done. shitty company, you get what you pay for.
My mom was a school bus driver in the 90s into the 2000s and said that the dispatcher would bring up the location and give them directions on there route and should have a GPS with directions idk it seems off to me there’s so many things that the driver could of done
This just happened to us today with my sons elementary school but 2 hours instead of 3. I called EVERYONE at the school; the principal, assistant principal, bus office, bus transportation manager and could not get ANYONE on the phone. It’s unacceptable for schools to be so nonchalant with our concerns for our children! ***Still fuming 😡 😤
@rock on, rock off. YOU get over it, you unsympathetic scumbag troll. Be gone with you, predator! If it's not your concern, stay out of it. I hope you get in trouble, somehow! 😡
It took the cops to step in and bring 7 kids back to their homes and reprimand the school bus driver for refusing to drop those kids off at their homes.
yes, private schools are responsible for their own transportation -- that's why they should contract with a PROPER school transportation department RUN BY THE SCHOOLS, *not* by the lowest bidder!
no, a school bus didn't screw up, a third party busing company did. here is yet *another* example of what happens when you turn over control to a school who then turns over control to just whoever has the lowest bid.
Parents should sue the school for costs and distress then the school should sue for all those costs, etc. The bus company will have to tender a much higher price next year unless primary investors know it will do well, giving it capital to see it over those losses and will thus deselect itself or else do well.
They have no problem putting their five year old on a stranger's bus and wiping their hands of him for nine hours a day. A couple of extra hours shouldn't be much of a bother.
